Flamengo won the U20 Club World Cup title this Saturday (24), by beating Olympiacos, from Greece, 2-1, in a comeback, at Maracanã. In a match marked by a lot of emotion and overcoming, the red and black team had to fight until the last minute to guarantee victory and the trophy. BY MATHEUS GONÇALVES
After the final whistle, Matheus Gonçalves, who also plays for Flamengo's main team, made an emotional outburst about the challenges faced by young football players. The midfielder highlighted the difficulties and sacrifices that have been part of a career since childhood, often away from family and friends.
"There are people who think playing football is easy. We struggle a lot since we were children, leaving far away, giving up several things... But they think it's easy because we have a salary.
