The Garotos do Ninho thrashed the professional team of Olaria in a training game held at Ninho do Urubu, on the 7th. The match marked the debut of the new Under-20 coach Raphael Bahia, who was promoted after the U20 campaign. Under-16 in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior.


Raphael has been at Flamengo since 2023 and has already won the Flamengo Adidas Cup, Brasil Soccer Cup and Liam Brad Cup titles, undefeated. He was runner-up in the Guadalupe Cup and semi-finalist in the Guilherme Embry Tournament.


Olaria, in turn, is preparing to debut in the Copa do Brasil on the 21st or 28th of February. The Barueri team is in bracket 3 alongside São Paulo and São Bernardo.


Meanwhile, the professional team takes the field tomorrow (10) for the delayed game of the third round of the Carioca Championship. The duel is against Volta Redonda, at Maracanã, at 4pm.

To date, Flamengo has played six games in the Campeonato Carioca. Among these, Tite commanded the main team on four occasions, winning three wins and one draw. On the other hand, the other two matches were led by Mário Jorge, under-20 coach, with an alternative team.
