The Flamengo will cont with the Michael's return for the match against Bragantino, which will take place next Sunday. After a period of recovery and readjustment to the squad, the striker trained with the group this Friday, indicating that he is ready to be named by coach Tite. Michael, who had a notable spell at Flamengo in his first spell at the club, was one of the players who stood out especially under the command of Renato Gaúcho, contributing significantly with goals and assists.

His return to Rubro -Negro has generated great expectations among fans, who hope that he can resume the good football he presented previously. The decision to list Michael for the clash against Bragantino indicates that the coaching staff trusts the player's physical and technical condition. Flamengo faces a series of challenges in the Brasileirão, and the return of a player with the ability to decide games, like Michael, is seen as an important reinforcement for the team.

FLAMENGO HAS A NEW SETUP

In the match against Bragantino, Flamengo is not only looking for victory to stay at the top of the table, but also to show that it has a robust squad capable of facing the difficulties imposed by the marathon of games. Michael can be a key player in this context, offering more options for the offensive sector, which already has names like Pedro and Gabigol.

It is expected that Michael will be used strategically, possibly entering during the game to give more dynamism and speed to Flamengo's attack. Tite must evaluate the attacker's performance in training and in the game to determine the best time to insert him into the match. Michael's return also symbolizes a response to the recent difficulties faced by Flamengo, which is dealing with a considerable number of players in the medical department. Reinforcing the squad with a player of his quality can help alleviate these absences and bring more balance to the team.

Last Sunday (15), Flamengo and Vasco drew 1-1, at Maracanã, in a match valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship. The result, although frustrating for the red and blacks, who dominated much of the match, kept them eight points behind leader Botafogo.

Mais Querido entered the field imposing his pace and controlling the actions for most of the game. The red-black goal was scored by Gerson, who has been standing out in recent matches. However, CRF conceded the draw in the final minutes, which prevented a more significant approach to the classification table.

STRATEGY FOR THE FINAL STRAIGHT OF THE BRASILEIRÃO

Even with the difference in points for Botafogo, the technical committee, led by Tite, devised a strategy focused on keeping the team competitive until the last rounds. According to information from the Coluna do Fla portal, the objective is to arrive "alive" in the fight for the title in the final five rounds. Matheus Bachi, assistant coach, believes that the recent good performance against Bahia and Vasco could be an indication that the team is on the right track to fight for the top again.
