The logistics to bring these players back in good condition are still in the planning phase at Mais Querido

0Flamengo will face Bragantino on the 23rd, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, to settle the dispute in the Brazilian Championship. In search of a solid position in the G-4, Tite directs his attention to two crucial points: Erick Pulgar and Arrascaeta. The club is organizing an operation to ensure that both are in ideal condition, just two days after participating in the sixth round of the South American qualifiers.
In terms of GE, those called up for the Chilean and Uruguayan teams, Pulgar and Arrascaeta have appointments scheduled within a five-day interval. Next Thursday, Chile will face Paraguay at home, in Santiago, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time). Thirty minutes earlier, at Bombonera, Uruguay faces Argentina as a visitor. On November 21, two days before the clash between Flamengo and Bragantino, the Chileans face Ecuador at 8:30 pm (Brasília time), in Quito. At the same time, the Uruguayans host Bolivia.
The logistics for the recovery of the players are still in the planning phase, but the responsible department at Flamengo has always demonstrated agility in bringing its main athletes to decisive games. At the same time, Tite will train alternatives, considering the possibility of wear and tear or injuries during the process. In the first three matches of the qualifiers, Pulgar was an absolute starter in Eduardo Berizzo's choices, who did not replace him in any of these clashes. The number 5 was only absent in the 3-0 defeat to Venezuela due to a suspension.
The absence against Venezuela allowed Pulgar to return earlier than expected and stand out in the 90 minutes of Tite's debut, contributing to the 2-0 victory over Cruzeiro. In turn, Arrascaeta had limited participation in the qualifiers, playing just over 30 minutes. He sat out the first two rounds due to an injury to the biceps femoris of his left thigh. In the third round, he came on 16 minutes into the second half in the 2-2 draw with Colombia.
He was subsequently unused in the 2-0 win over Brazil. Varela, also called up by Marcelo Bielsa to represent Uruguay against Argentina and Bolivia, has not yet been used by Tite since the coach's arrival. The player's presence in the match against Bragantino remains uncertain, being yet another variable for Tite to consider when planning the strategy to consolidate his team in the G-4 of the Brazilian Championship.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

Bruno Henrique takes the lead in Flamengo's attack after injuries to teammates

0With several casualties in the offensive sector, Bruno Henrique, 33 years old, will be the main name in Flamengo's attack in the next matches. The striker, who stands out for his long-standing partnership with Arrascaeta, believes that this harmony will be fundamental for the team to maintain its good performance in the competitions it competes in, such as the Brazilian Championship, the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil.
"We are the players at the front. Arrascaeta is a classic midfielder, who knows how to create plays and finish. Being close to him increases the chances of scoring and assisting. With his quality and the more than six years we have played together, we understand each other just by looking at each other", stated Bruno Henrique in an interview with ESPN.
Flamengo will no longer have Pedro and Everton Cebolinha until the end of the season. Furthermore, Michael and Luiz Araújo are only expected to return to the pitch in the final stretch of 2024. Gabigol, who also faces physical problems, has been used less frequently. With this series of absences, the leading role falls to Bruno Henrique, who has the mission of leading the red and black attack at a decisive moment of the season.
To make up the offensive sector, Mais Querido also has newcomers Gonzalo Plata and Carlinhos, as well as young promises from the club's youth categories. Despite the losses, the expectation is that Bruno Henrique's experience and quality will be enough to keep the team competitive in competitions.
