Cebolinha says that some players have been studied, and in general, they know that it is a good team defensively and that it has not lost in a few games . Despite the adaptation that will have to be made against the opponent, the player says he hopes that the team will enter on a bright day so as not to be surprised.
"In these types of games, you have to be extra careful because it's a team we don't know. Coach Filipe has been going over the team's strengths collectively. Individually, we try to study one player or another. I saw that it's a team that is very strong defensively in their championship and is on a winning streak. That's why we have to be careful not to be surprised. We hope to have our day tomorrow, and we're very focused on playing an excellent match," said Cebolinha.
If Cebolinha drew attention to Espérance-TUN's defensive system, Léo Pereira highlighted that the African team has good players in attack , stating that Fla's defense will have extra attention , also praising the opponent's influence on their continent.
"Well, man, we have to be extra careful. That's where the danger lies, right? Extra careful, for sure, because we can't be surprised in any way. We've already analyzed the attackers there. There are some good guys up front, so we have to be extra careful and, for sure, we're better prepared to face this team, which is a very positive team there in Tunisia [...] we can't mess around, we can't be careless. We have to go in with our concentration at the top, at the maximum, and give our best" , he highlighted.
Tunisia's greatest champion and the fourth club with the most continental titles in Africa, Espérance arrives at the Club World Cup boasting the second longest unbeaten streak among the 32 participants: 11 games without defeat, behind only River Plate, which has accumulated 17 unbeaten matches.
Alternating between the starting line-up and the bench, Cebolinha is not having one of his best moments with the Manto , but he is an important piece for Filipe Luís. After winning the Copa Libertadores with Fluminense, Jhon Arias left Brazilian football after the Club World Cup and joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in England. At his new club, the Colombian has started the last few matches but has yet to establish himself.
So far, he hasn't scored any goals and is struggling to adapt to English football. Even so, Arias remains focused on Europe. The midfielder recently stated that his goal is to perform in English football, but he doesn't rule out a return to Brazil in the future.
According to journalist Fabrício Lopes, Flamengo has already made an initial inquiry into the player. Although negotiations are not underway, Flamengo is seen as one of the few teams in Brazil able to offer salaries close to those earned in Europe.
" Obviously, Arias prioritizes staying in Europe; he just arrived there. He wants to perform for his team. But if that doesn't happen, only Flamengo can offer a salary close to what he earns in Europe," said Fabrício. It's worth remembering that the next transfer window won't open for another three months, so any official moves are unlikely to happen until after that period.
The number 10's future is still up in the air. Arias would prioritize Fluminense if he returns to Brazilian football , but he's not closing the door on Flamengo , which is closely monitoring the situation. The midfielder's performance in the coming months will be crucial in determining the future of his career.

Gabigol hasn't received any official offers from Atlético-MG yet. However, even if he did, the striker wouldn't consider leaving Cruzeiro for a rival in the same city. Since his arrival, the number 9 has developed an affinity with the Raposa , a factor that reinforces his continued presence in Belo Horizonte.
Even with his future uncertain , the striker continues to seek more playing time and a consistent starting role. Among Brazilian clubs, Corinthians is seen by Gabigol as a dream club for the future. However, there are currently no ongoing negotiations between the parties.
Before Atlético-MG's interest was expressed, Corinthians was considered a strong candidate to sign the striker . During Augusto Melo's tenure, the board saw Gabigol as a strategic and high-impact signing, offering a better value than international players like Memphis Depay.
Despite arriving with star status, Gabigol has yet to replicate the prominence he enjoyed at Flamengo at Cruzeiro. He currently has 35 appearances, 12 goals, and four assists for the Minas Gerais team, but Leonardo Jardim doesn't consider him a regular starter.

Flamengo will have representatives on the Brazilian national team 's preliminary squad for the friendlies against South Korea and Japan. The names of Léo Ortiz, Alex Sandro, and Samuel Lino have been included by coach Carlo Ancelotti. The official squad will be announced this Wednesday (1st) at 3 p.m. (Brasília time) at the CBF headquarters in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.
The three athletes have been important pieces in Flamengo 's starting lineup. In the recent match against Estudiantes, in Argentina, they all started playing. In the victory over Corinthians , last Sunday (28), Alex Sandro started on the bench and came on in the second half.
In the last call-up, for the World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Bolivia, the trio also appeared on the preliminary list . However, only Samuel Lino was called up, even starting in the defeat against Bolivia.
To prepare for the 2026 World Cup, the Brazilian national team will play two friendlies on Asian soil. The first will be against South Korea on October 10th at 8:00 am (Brasília time) in Seoul. Four days later, the team will face Japan at 7:30 am (Brasília time) in Tokyo. In November, Brazil will also play two friendlies against African teams, with opponents and venues yet to be determined.
The coaching staff's schedule includes new friendlies in March 2026, this time against major European teams. Among the most advanced contacts is a possible duel against France. The final roster for the World Cup will be announced in May , with the possibility of a final friendly match before the national team's debut in June.
