In a game valid for the fifth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Flamengo drew 2-2 with RB Bragantino, this Monday afternoon (15), in Gávea. Jucinara and Cristiane, from a penalty, scored the red-black goals. Mais Querido faces Internacional, away from home, in the next round of the competition.

The game

Looking to attack from the first minute, the Meninas da Gávea immediately opened the scoring in Gávea. Crivelari made a beautiful throw for Jucinara to take advantage of the defender's mistake, dribble past the goalkeeper and push it into the net: 1 to 0.

With an advantage, the red-black team continued to attack, seeking to extend the score. At 14', Duda threw it to Gisseli in the area, the attacker hit the goal and the goalkeeper put it for a corner. As the game progressed, RB Bragantino got further ahead, and at the 31' mark, they left everything the same with Thayslane: 1 to 1. The first half ended in a draw.

At the beginning of the second half , the team from São Paulo reached the second goal with Paulina Gramaglia, who rose to head after a corner kick: 2 to 1.

After suffering the turnover, Flamengo tried to exchange passes into the offensive field, but found difficulties in reaching the Bragantino area. At 37', Duda crossed into the area, the ball took effect and the opposing defender made the cut on top of the line. The equalizer almost came out.

In extra time, Mengão had a penalty in their favor. Cristiane went for the penalty and hit the corner to leave everything equal on the scoreboard: 2 to 2. Rubro-Negro pressed until the last minute and had a clear chance to score the third with Glaucia, but the match ended in a draw.< /p>

Bielsa on Flamengo's De La Cruz: "It's not appropriate to force him to play"

"De La Cruz's process is as follows: even though he's a reserve, he won't be called up. We understand he's healthy, but we believe it's best for him to get back to playing consistently at the club first . It's not appropriate to force him to play for the national team without first being fully reintegrated into competitive football," Bielsa stated.

The coach also highlighted the importance of the player, but reinforced that the preparation time between arrival and the game would be insufficient to use him at a high level, ensuring that it is necessary for the midfielder to return to his best competitive form at the club, before returning to the national team list.

De La Cruz's absence comes amid a recent episode. Last month, Flamengo 's then-doctor, José Luiz Runco, stated in a messaging group that the midfielder had a chronic and irreversible knee injury. DE LA CRUZ RETURNED TO PLAY FOR FLAMENGO

Recovered, the Uruguayan returned to wear the red-black shirt in the historic 8-0 victory over Vitória, last Monday (25). De La Cruz came on in the second half, played for 20 minutes, completed 95% of his passes and had 100% success in his throws.
