In the return game of the Carioca U15 semifinal, Flamengo drew 0-0 with Vasco this Saturday morning (11), in Gávea, and guaranteed a place in the tournament final. With a better campaign in the first phase, Mais Querido had the advantage of a draw, as the first leg also ended the same way.
The game
The classic started off with a lot of study, with Flamengo looking to exchange passes quickly in the offensive field. The red and black team's first good arrival came after nine minutes. Ryan Roberto took a free kick at the edge of the area and the ball hit the crossbar.
The red-black team created another good opportunity in the 30th minute. Jhefinho gave a great pass to Ryan Pablo in the area and the striker hit the goalkeeper. Five minutes later, Ryan Roberto came down the left, cut inside and scored. The ball once again hit the crossbar. The first half ended goalless.
In the second half, the game remained very competitive. The teams fought for possession of the ball. It is worth remembering that with a draw, Flamengo advances to the final, as the first game ended the same way. Having had a better campaign in the first phase, Garotos do Ninho have this advantage.
At 20', goalkeeper Paulo made a great save and avoided Vasco's goal. In the final stretch, Rubro-Negro managed to hold on to the result and qualified for the State Championship. The Boys from the Ninho will face Fluminense in the final.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. "The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."

Flamengo beats Resende in the Rio U-15 Cup

Important victory for the red and black U-15 kids, in the Copa Rio. Playing this Saturday in a double round, in Gávea, Flamengo beat Resende, 2-1. The red and black goals were scored by Luiz Guilherme and Vinicyus (by bicycle).
Mais Querido's next challenging commitment in the competition will take place next Saturday (20), against Serrano, also in Gávea. It is worth remembering that Rubro-Negro is one of the bases' development references and has recently revealed stars such as Vini Jr and Paquetá.
