The former captain and number 10 of Flamengo, Diego Ribas, will represent the club in Orlando, in the United States, starting in July. Diego, who had a remarkable career in Brazilian and international football, now joins Flamengo in a new initiative to expand the club's presence abroad.

The project in which Diego Ribas will be an ambassador envisages the creation of camps, which are sports teams aimed at children and teenagers. These camps will be held in several cities in the United States, with the aim of identifying new talents and, at the same time, promoting the Flamengo brand outside Brazil. In addition to the camps, the club plans to open football schools in the country in the future, further consolidating its international presence.

The strategy is clear: increase the recognition and strength of the Flamengo name worldwide. By following in the footsteps of top European clubs, Flamengo seeks to not only create new opportunities for young players, but also expand its market and influence in global football.

By the end of 2026, Flamengo plans to hold five camps in the United States, two per year. These screenings will not only provide the opportunity for young talent to showcase their potential, but will also serve as a platform to spread Brazilian football culture and Flamengo values ​​among young Americans.
