The young man received an offer from Atlético-MG, however, according to journalist Lucas Tanaka, the team from Minas Gerais decided to give up on hiring Shola. The reason for the withdrawal was the "auction" for the player, which ended up inflating his value.

The Flamengo has its eye on Cedric Soares, a 32-year-old right-back who recently left Arsenal and is available on the market. The Portuguese player, who has already played for important European clubs, appears as a possible signing to reinforce the red and black squad.
