Flamengo rents a triplex in people's minds! Botafogo coach, Bruno Lage, once again mentioned Mais Querido in an interview. It seems that since the defeat in the classic at the beginning of the month - on September 2nd - Glorioso from Rio has not won a single game in the Brasileirão. He then said that this type of behavior should have happened in Fogão's last two matches, both of which ended in their defeat.
"If this had happened in the last two games (against Flamengo and Atlético-MG), we would be talking about completely different results", the coach explained to reporters. Mengão faced their state rival on the 2nd and won 2-1. Atlético-MG won at home on September 17th 1-0.
To clarify, the situation mentioned by Lage in game against Corinthians was still in the first half. The black and white captain, Marçal, was sent off in the 23rd minute, after a VAR review. With the full-back's departure, Botafogo played the rest of the game with just 10 people on the field. The São Paulo team's goal came at the beginning of the second half (at 59'), with a shot from Carlos Gilberto.

Back in Brazilian football, Neymar still divides opinions about his future at Santos . During a debate on ESPN Brasil, former player Zinho compared the Santos number 10 to Flamengo's Arrascaeta , which sparked disagreement from Zé Elias. The former Mengão player stated that the Uruguayan wouldn't be able to perform at the São Paulo club.

Currently, the number 10 is Flamengo 's top scorer in the Brasileirão, with 13 goals. Last Sunday (14), he even scored one of the goals in the 2-0 victory over Juventude , in Caxias do Sul, which ended a 28-year drought.

The match, valid for the round of 16 of the Women's Brazil Cup , will be played in a single game.
