Defender Natan, trained at Flamengo, could be on his way to Real Betis, in Spain. The information was released this Tuesday, 13th, by the Spanish newspaper AS. Natan, who was revealed by Rubro-Negro, played for Bragantino and was currently at Napoli, in Italy. If the negotiation is completed, Flamengo will be entitled to a part of the transfer value.
If the agreement is closed, Natan will arrive at Betis to reinforce the team's defensive sector. The player is described by AS as an athlete with great physical strength and with the potential to stand out in the Spanish team.
The transfer was also confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, known for his updates on the football market. According to Romano, negotiations are progressing towards a loan agreement with an option to purchase, which would allow Betis to evaluate the player before a definitive acquisition.
If the transaction goes through, Flamengo will receive a percentage of the negotiation, due to the solidarity mechanism, which benefits the training club. Mengão may be entitled to up to 5% of the transfer value.
Natan joined Flamengo in 2017, aged 16, and left the club in 2021, when I was 20 years old. After his time at Rubro-Negro, he was sold to Bragantino, where he played for two years, before moving to Napoli.
