In this way, the Nation prepares posters with the following words: “Against modern football”, “Very expensive ticket for little football”, “There is no lack of support. What’s missing is football”, “Management is silent. Give back my Flamengo“, “Team of millions, floodplain board”, “Flamengo belongs to the people”, “To play for Mengo, you have to be willing” and, finally, “Lots of media, little football”.
Fan protests
After the defeat in the Copa Libertadores, Flamengo fans went to the airport in the early hours of the morning to welcome the red and black squad. After leaving the place, the bus was attacked with popcorn, while part of the Nation sang against coach Tite, the players and the board.
Flamengo fell early in the Copa Libertadores for the second year in a row. Furthermore, the red-black team occupies fourth place in the Brazilian Championship and far from leader Botafogo. Finally, the club led by coach Tite is alive in the Copa do Brasil, when it faces Corinthians, in the semi-final.
