0Flamengo secured the signing of yet another reinforcement for this current season. As reported by the GE portal, the club signed an agreement with striker Carlinhos, from Nova Iguaçu. The news was promptly confirmed by several other sources.
Although the contract has not yet been formally signed, drafts have already been exchanged between Marcos Braz, vice-president of football at CRF, and Jânio Moraes, president of < a href="https://gazetadourubu.com/noticia/e-do-mengao-flamengo-contrata-centroavante-do-nova-iguacu" target="_blank">Nova Iguaçu. The player's arrival aims to strengthen the options in the team's offensive sector.
Flamengo overcame competition from Vasco da Gama and Atlético-MG to sign the player. The teams carried out recent consultations with their staff, but the number 9 also gave preference to Mais Querido.
CARLINHOS WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THE BRASILEIRÃO
Carlinhos will not be able to participate in the Copa do Brasil due to regulations, as he has already played for Nova Iguaçu. Furthermore, he is excluded from the Libertadores group stage, as Flamengo has already sent the list of registered players.
The deadline for registrations in the competition was at 7pm last Friday (29). However, if Tite's team advances to the next stage, Carlinhos could be included on the list of inscriptions.
