Official! Flamengo's Deliberative Council approves creation of Flabet, the club's betting website

Licensing valid until 2027 will guarantee R$82.5 million to Flamengo; club will receive 1% of each bet placed

The Deliberative Council of Flamengo approved, this Tuesday (13), the creation of Flabet, the new platform club's online betting platform. The vote, held at the Gáveas headquarters, had 123 votes in favor and four against.

LICENSING DETAILS

Flabet's licensing will be valid until 2027 and guarantees Flamengo a total value of R$82.5 million. The distribution of amounts will be made as follows: R$10 million for the last four months of 2024, R$22.5 million in 2025, and R$25 million for each of the years 2026 and 2027.

In addition to these fixed values, Flamengo will be able to increase its revenue through a 1% commission on the total value of bets placed on the platform.

NATURALITY OF THE AGREEMENT

Flabet will operate under the licensing of the Flamengo brand, which means that the club will not be directly involved in the management of the platform and will not assume any associated financial risk. Pixbet, which manages Flabet and is already Flamengo's master sponsor, will not add the new website to the club's uniform. Combining the new contract with the existing sponsorship, Pixbet will invest a total of R$543 million in Flamengo.

The decision of the Deliberative Council marks an important step in expanding the revenue sources of Flamengo, further consolidating the partnership with Pixbet and expanding the club's financial opportunities.

Lineup: With changes, Flamengo announces the starters who will face Peñarol at Maracanã

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained.
