The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced this Friday (30) the call-up of Matheus Gonçalves, from Flamengo, and Rayan, from Vasco, for the Brazilian Under-20 Team. The two athletes were called up to replace Alisson, from Atlético-MG, and Gustavo Nunes, from Brentford, who will not be able to participate due to injuries.
The young talents will participate in a period of training and friendlies against Mexico on the next FIFA Date . The matches are scheduled for the 5th and 8th of September, at the São Januário stadium, in Rio de Janeiro. This call-up is another important stage in the careers of both, especially for Matheus Gonçalves, who has already been integrated into Flamengo's professional squad on a few occasions.

The activity will take place at Gators Stadium, located in Florida, known as the largest stadium in the state, with a capacity for 88 thousand fans. Since arriving in the United States on January 11, the red and black squad has already completed four training sessions, two of which on the first day. Brazilian and CONMEBOL Libertadores champion with Botafogo last year, Luiz Henrique was praised by Romário and is part of the list of six players who impress the former striker in national football.
