Flamengo can count on an important surprise in the starting line-up for the clash against Peñarol (URU), this Thursday (26), for the return of the quarter-finals of the Libertadores. In training held this Sunday (22), Tite's technical committee tested the team with Gabigol among the starters, according to the portal 'Coluna do Fla'. Sign-up tested this Sunday:

Rossi;

Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro;

Léo Ortiz, Gerson and Arrascaeta;

Plata , Bruno Henrique and Gabigol.

Gabigol was not included in the game against Grêmio, which also takes place this Sunday (22) in the Brasileirão, in Porto Alegre. For this match, Tite traveled without the 11 starting players who played against Peñarol last Thursday (19), in addition to Léo Ortiz. Thus, training at Ninho do Urubu was led by assistant Matheus Bachi, and a possible formation for the decisive Libertadores duel was tested.

Flamengo was defeated 1-0 by Peñarol, at Maracanã, in first game of the Libertadores quarter-finals. Now, Rubro-Negro needs to win by two goals in Uruguay to guarantee a place in the semi-finals.

Return match

The return match between Flamengo and Peñarol will be held on September 26th (Thursday), at 7pm, the same time as the first leg.
