Flamengo returns to the field this Sunday (22) to face Grêmio, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Arena do Grêmio, in a match valid for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship. In addition to not having coach Renato Gaúcho, Tricolor Rio Grande do Sul will have six important absences: Rodrigo Ely, Pavón, André Henrique, Du Queiroz, Fabio and Jemerson. Furthermore, four players are suspended.

Among the absences, defender Jemerson is automatically suspended after receiving his third yellow card. Rodrigo Ely felt pain again resulting from a muscle injury. Du Queiroz is still recovering from a fracture in his left foot, while full-back Fábio continues to treat an injury to his right thigh. Pavón and André Henrique are in the transition phase after muscle injuries, but they will not be options for the confrontation either.

Grêmio's list of absences:

Jemerson – Automatic suspension

Rodrigo Ely – Pain in the right leg

Du Queiroz – Fracture in the left foot

Fábio – Injury in the right thigh

In addition, coach Renato Gaúcho will not be able to be on the sidelines of the field, as he was suspended for four matches for STJD. With this, assistant Marcelo Salles will lead the team. Interestingly, Salles worked at Flamengo in 2019, before the arrival of Jorge Jesus.

Hanging from Grêmio:

Marchesín

Reinaldo

Villasanti

These players have accumulated two yellow cards and, if they receive one more, they will be suspended for the next game against Criciúma, on Wednesday (25). p>
