The Peñarol squad finishes preparations for the match against Flamengo this Wednesday (18). While the red and black squad trains at Ninho do Urubu, the Uruguayans used the Botafogo CT.
According to information from the Coluna do Fla portal, Peñarol will train at the Botafogo CT from 3:30 pm this Wednesday Friday (18). The activity will be the last for the Uruguayan team with a focus on the clash against Flamengo.
Highlighting that Peñarol's training will be behind "closed doors", that is, the press will not have access. Like Mais Querido, who will also train without the presence of reporters at CT Ninho do Urubu.
O Flamengo will be able to count on the support of the Nation, which promises to fill Maracanã on Thursday (19). Playing at the "Templo Sagrado", Rubro-Negro lost only two matches, against Botafogo and Fortaleza, both in the Brasileirão.
Thus, the Mais Querido squad continues preparing for the clash against Peñarol, in the Libertadores. The first game will be at Maracanã, on Thursday (19). Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.
Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region.
