Things aren't looking good between striker Pedro and coach Filipe Luís. For this reason, the striker responded this Monday morning to the criticism he received from the coach after the victory over São Paulo. The striker called the entire squad to a closed-door meeting at Ninho do Urubu and clarified his subpar performance in training last week. The coach did not attend the meeting.
At the meeting, attended only by players, Pedro apologized for his lackluster performance in activities and said he was impacted by the leaked screenshots in which a club official "put him up for sale" for €15 million. A potential scandal involving the Copa Libertadores quarterfinal match between Flamengo and Estudiantes (ARG) in La Plata has gained prominence in the Argentine press. The NGO "Sport Without Drugs," represented by Aldo Sérgio Parodi, filed a formal complaint of "collective doping" regarding the match, alleging that no post-match drug tests were conducted.

Aldo Parodi filed the complaint with federal prosecutor Ana María Russo of La Plata, based on Law No. 26,912, which regulates anti-doping control in Argentine sports.
