Flamengo is very close to concluding negotiations with Colombian midfielder Jorge Carrascal . The player, who already has a salary and contract agreement in place with the Brazilian club , is just waiting for the final adjustments between Mengão and Dynamo Moscow to be officially announced as a reinforcement for the rest of the 2025 season.
According to information from journalist Gabriel Reis, Carrascal has already started looking for a property in Rio de Janeiro. The most likely destination is the high-end condominium Riviera Del Sol, located in Barra da Tijuca, in the west of the city. The athlete is reportedly in contact with a real estate agent who is well-known among the players in the red-and-black squad, which shows that negotiations are progressing and that he wants to adapt quickly.
The agreement between the Rio de Janeiro club and the Russian team provides for the payment of 12 million euros fixed, equivalent to approximately R$72 million at the current exchange rate, in addition to a bonus of another 2 million euros (R$12 million) , totaling approximately R$84 million. The transfer is expected to be finalized by July 10, when the Brazilian football transfer window opens.

With no time to rest, the red-black squad returned this Friday (3) afternoon , at Ninho do Urubu, to begin preparations for the duel against Bahia. Training begins at 3:30 pm (Brasília time), under the command of Filipe Luís.
In a head-to-head clash at the top of the table, Flamengo and Cruzeiro played a tight match at the Maracanã. In the first half, the Minas Gerais team closed well, preventing any major scoring chances , and threatened the red-and-black team, which was saved by Rossi and Alex Sandro.
