And this only happened due to unilateral action by the city of Rio. It is a dry topic and difficult to understand for lay people, but it is directly related to the unfounded and meaningless arguments used by the CEF and the Union to contest the auction of the Gasometer land purchased by Flamengo”, he begins, before explaining:
“In addition, by decision of the city hall itself, the urban operation area was expanded to São Cristóvão. In other words, in addition to bringing yet another piece of public equipment to the region, the city hall has made it possible to profit from the operation for the FGTS. Any interpretation other than this is either bad faith or political ill will”, he adds.
