"Flamengo always controls the operation. Wesley still has a contract with Flamengo, recently renewed. He is a player who is obviously of interest to Flamengo. It is a business like We need to analyze replacement parts, what the replacement options would be, and think about what moves we would need to make for other signings, said Landim, in an interview with the podcast. Mundo GV'.
PROPOSAL MADE BY ATALANTA

"The fine is too high, forget it, they wouldn't pay his fine to get him out of Flamengo. Strictly speaking, Yes, anyone can pay the fine and get him out of Flamengo, but that's not what's going to happen. We completely control the operation, we're sure of that. In order to eventually make this move, we need to think about it. what Flamengo's squad will look like and how other signings and replacements would be made in this window", concluded Landim.
DECISION IN WESLEY'S HANDS
According to the GE, the Flamengo even accepted Atalanta's proposal, but left the transfer decision to Wesley. Now, it is up to the full-back to leave Rubro-Negro or remain at the club until next season.

Flamengo began the week of training with a view to their debut in the Libertadores against Deportivo Táchira. The duel is scheduled for this Thursday (3), at 9:30 pm, at the Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo Stadium, in Venezuela. Led by Filipe Luís, the team is looking to start the competition with a good performance and, at the same time, end a long winless streak as a visitor in the continental tournament.
Flamengo failed to win away from home in the 2023 and 2024 editions, accumulating a negative sequence of nine matches. During this period, there were four draws and five defeats, resulting in a low performance of 14.8% as a visitor.
In 2023, the group stage ended with a defeat to Aucas and draws against Racing and Ñublense. The early elimination came after a 3–1 defeat against Olimpia in Paraguay in the round of 16.
2024 SEASON WAS MARKED BY MORE NEGATIVE RESULTS AWAY FROM HOME
Under Tite's command, the campaign in the last edition also had difficulties away from Maracanã. The team was defeated by Bolívar and Palestino, in addition to drawing with Millonarios. In the knockout stage, another defeat for the Bolivians, this time in La Paz, and a draw with Peñarol in Uruguay, which culminated in the elimination of the tournament.

Flamengo 's last away win in the Libertadores came in 2022, when they beat Vélez Sarsfield 4-0 in the semi-finals. That season, the club won the continental title, cementing another successful period in its history. Now, with Filipe Luís in charge and the team enjoying a good moment, the expectation is that this drought will end against Deportivo Táchira.
Support for Jorge Jesus grows on social media, with comments from Galvão Bueno and Luis Roberto fueling rumors of a possible return to Brazil

The search for a new coach for the Brazilian National Team gained momentum after the dismissal of Dorival Júnior, last Friday (28). Among the names speculated, Jorge Jesus, ex-Flamengo, emerges as one of the main candidates to take over the position. The Portuguese coach, currently in charge of Al Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, has already been indicated as the preference of part of the fans and sports analysts.
Recently, Jorge Jesus shared a picture of a training session with Al Hilal, emphasizing his commitment: “We are eager to compete again, but for now, we are dedicated to training! We are focused and dedicated to this stage.” What caught everyone’s attention was the interaction between two personalities from sports journalism. Galvão Bueno commented:
“Dreaming is necessary!! Making dreams come true is an achievement, JJ!!” , while Luis Roberto added: “Towards the sixth title!” . The messages reinforced the fans’ expectations.
The possibility of Jorge Jesus taking over the Brazilian national team is not new. In September of last year, the coach stated that he could be "closer" to Brazil if the CBF opted for a foreigner for the position. Furthermore, a survey conducted by the newspaper "Lance!" revealed that more than 60% of fans prefer the Portuguese, beating names such as Carlo Ancelotti and José Mourinho.
CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues has already expressed interest in hiring a coach from outside Brazil. However, the decision on the new coach for the national team is only expected to happen after the Club World Cup, scheduled for June. While the decision is not made, Jorge Jesus' name continues to be talked about and expectations among fans are growing.

Negotiations between the clubs were concluded last Friday (28), and the player already had a ticket issued to Salvador with departure scheduled for Monday (31). However, the trip was postponed to adjust the termination with Fortaleza . The expectation is that Kayzer will report to the new club as soon as the bureaucratic details are resolved.
Kayzer's contract with Fortaleza would run until December of this year. The Ceará club owned 60% of the athlete's economic rights, acquired for R$6 million in 2022. At 29 years old, the striker participated in 11 matches this season and scored three goals.
During negotiations with Vitória, Kayzer has been recovering from a muscle edema in his right thigh. He is expected to be fit to play in approximately ten days. Therefore, even if he is regularized , he should not be available to face Flamengo next Sunday (5), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Barradão.
