President of Flamengo reveals date to announce new reinforcements - check it out

Michael's possible return to the club is also under discussion

In an interview with the Mundo GV podcast, the president of Flamengo, Rodolfo Landim, revealed that the club is close to announcing new reinforcements. According to Landim, the announcement is expected to take place next week, although he did not confirm specific details.

During the conversation, Landim was asked about the transfer market and the possibility of new players joining the Flamengo. The president highlighted that the club is active in the market, but avoided confirming whether reinforcements would be announced this week. "I don't think so this week. But I would say next week, maybe. We're on the market," he said.

It's worth remembering that recently the head of the Rio club stated that Claudinho was his big dream contract and there is a special project from the president himself to get the midfielder signed.

MICHAEL'S POSSIBLE RETURN

Another topic discussed was the chance to repatriate Michael, currently at Al Hilal, to replace Everton Cebolinha, who suffered a serious injury to his Achilles tendon and is sidelined for the remainder of 2024. Landim did not rule out the possibility of bringing Michael back to Flamengo, although he avoided giving a direct answer on the matter.
