A topic that has been debated in Brazilian football is the presence of psychologists in football clubs, whether from grassroots to professional levels. In Brazil, there are few teams that have trained professionals available to athletes and Flamengo is not one of those clubs.

Mais Querido does not have a sports psychologist on its professional team, only in the youth categories. This is because, according to the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, there is no need to have a qualified professional available for Rubro-Negro athletes.

However, the reality is different. This is because, according to information from the newspaper O Dia, Rodolfo Landim confided in a meeting with Grupo FAT - Flamengo Acima de Tudo, there are seven players from Mais Querido who undergo psychological treatment with professionals from the club.

Highlighting that the The club has psychologists in its structure ready to assist players who feel the need to carry out some type of follow-up with the professional. However, there is no sports psychologist, responsible for identifying possible anxiety triggers at each moment of sports practice.

EXPECTATION FOR THE ROLE TO BE OCCUPYED IN A NEW TERM

It is possible that this role will be filled next year. This is because Mais Querido will go through presidential elections in December and a new president will be chosen. Thus, the new representative will be able to assign the new VP of football to hire a qualified professional to serve all athletes.

Flamengo's planning for the stadium in Gasometer is increasingly elaborate. As reported by the newspaper O Globo, Rubro-Negro is not only after naming rights, but also plans to sell several sectors rights. The expression follows the same naming rights principle, but instead of the stadium's name, separate sectors of the arena.

In total, the club must sell more than nine sectors rights on Gasometer.

The objective is to sell:

-Two sectors behind the goals

-Two central ones

-Auditorium

-Room press conference

-Caamarotes

-VIP areas

Stadium corridors with other brands sponsors: Or In other words, based on just one box, one VIP area and one corridor, there will already be at least nine sales.

In a recent interview with Fla TV, president Rodolfo Landim highlighted the importance that these revenues will have for Flamengo to realize its dream of having its own stadium: “The name of the stadium is one of the things that will be able to bring in a lot of revenue from the sale of naming rights. So calm down, this is an important thing to make construction viable.”

Flamengo and Allianz talk about naming rights

If in the rights sectors there is nothing in progress , naming rights are not a standstill issue at Flamengo. In June, Lauro Jardim, from O Globo, reported that Landim had had a meeting with Allianz when he went to Europe to watch the game between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, in the Champions League final.

Flamengo could receive R$1 billion for the company to name the stadium for 25 years. In other words, it amounts to R$40 million annually, more than what is paid to Palmeiras by Allianz Parque. These are the stadiums that Allianz sponsors in football

-Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich): 75,024 – capacity

-Allianz Sydney Football Stadium (Sydney Roosters): 45,500 – capacity< /p>

-Allianz Parque (Palmeiras): 43,713 – capacity

-Allianz Stadium (Juventus): 41,507 – capacity

-Allianz Riviera (Nice): 35,000 – capacity

-Allianz Stadion (Rapid Vienna): 28,000 – capacity

-Allianz Field (Minnesota United): 19,400 – capacity

While talking to the German brand, Flamengo is awaiting the auction date to buy the land from Gasologista. The notice indicates the trading date for July 31st.

There is no longer any obstacle for Flamengo and Zenit hold a decisive meeting in search of a solution to midfielder Claudinho's situation. The Russian club wanted to wait for the match against Krasnodar, in the Super Cup final, to ‘drop the hammer’ in favor of Mengão or not. With the title won by a 4-2 victory, the next few hours will be decisive for Flamengo in the deal.

According to Renato Peçanha, from Essência Rubro-Negra, Flamengo is in a hurry and wants to close the deal ASAP. As Claudinho is active, coach Tite understands that the midfielder would arrive at Mais Querido ready to debut. In fact, the coach has been maintaining constant contact with the possible red-black reinforcement.

If the deal is completed, Claudinho will be the Flamengo's first reinforcementin the current window and will cost 18 million euros, something that exceeds R$105 million. In addition to the point guard, Fla is also trying to complete the arrival of midfielder Marcos Antônio, from Lazio, on loan with a one-season purchase obligation. The details with the Italians have not yet been finalized.

Claudinho is Flamengo's old dream

It is not new that Flamengo is trying to sign Claudinho. In the mid-2023 window, Rubro-Negro was also confident after presenting figures approaching 15 million euros. However, Zenit didn't even respond. This time, the Russians are more inclined to agree to the deal, but the transfer is treated with caution in the corridors of Gávea.

The latest matches of Flamengo demonstrated a problem that the team, under Tite's command, only managed to reverse once. Since the beginning of the coach's time at Mengão, there have been ten matches in which Mais Querido started behind on the scoreboard and only managed to turn things around in just one opportunity, against Vasco.

The historic rout over their rival, 6-1, it was the only game in which the Flamengo coach won after the team lost. In the other nine clashes, there were six negative results and three draws. The fact is that the fans embrace the team in moments of disadvantage, supporting the team to turn the game around. However, it has not been enough for the team to reverse itself in times when it is behind in games.

Flamengo is the team of the turnaround

The recent difficulty of the Rubro-Negro in turning games around is a worrying reason. However, historically, Flamengo is the team with the highest number of comebacks in the history of the Brasileirão in the straight points era (2003-2024). In total, there are 52 matches won after falling behind on the scoreboard, the last being against Vasco, in a 6-1 victory.

It is clear that the team's power of reaction has not been one of its strong points , especially in the last two matches, against Cuiabá and Fortaleza, respectively. Another recurrence that raises alarm is the issue of conceding a goal in the first few minutes, which disrupts an entire initially established strategy, in addition to increasing the physical and mental exhaustion of athletes.

With the postponement of the game against Internacional, Flamengo will only return to the field on July 20th, Saturday, against Criciúma. The match will be in Brasília, at 4pm, with Mengão in charge. Tite and the coaching staff will have time to recover and readjust the team. Furthermore, the Uruguayan quartet should be available to the coach.
