Flamengo, one of the most prestigious clubs in Brazilian football, left this Tuesday afternoon towards Porto Alegre, with an important challenge ahead: facing Grêmio in the Brazilian Championship. However, the Rio team will face the match with three significant absences, which raises concerns for the technical committee and the red and black fans. Coach Tite, who recently took charge of Flamengo, will have to deal with important absences in the team. Allan, a midfield player, has a foot injury and will not be able to contribute in the clash against Grêmio. His presence is usually fundamental to the team's tactical organization, and his absence will be felt.

Another notable absence is David Luiz, who suffered an ankle injury. The experienced defender, known for his leadership and quality in defense, will have to watch the game from outside the four lines. His absence leaves a gap in Flamengo's rearguard, which will have to be filled by other players. Furthermore, Fabricio Bruno, who had been a fundamental player in the defense, is suspended and will not be able to enter the field. Bruno's suspension is a hard blow for Flamengo, who will have to find a quick solution to maintain their solid defense against a Grêmio team looking for rehabilitation in the championship.

To make up for these absences, Tite listed a list of players who will seek to overcome these challenges. The complete list of information for the game against Grêmio has been released, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see how the coach will assemble the team and what strategy will be adopted. Among those listed, some names may stand out and take on a leading role in the absence of injured and suspended players. The fans are counting on Bruno Henrique's experience, Arrascaeta's creativity and Gabigol's eye for goal to lead Flamengo to victory.

However, Grêmio will not be an easy opponent. The team from Rio Grande do Sul, traditionally strong at home, is looking for a recovery in the championship and will not give Flamengo any respite. The Grêmio coach will also have his strategies and challenges to overcome. The match promises to be exciting, with fans eager to see how Flamengo will do in the face of absences. The absence of key players, such as David Luiz and Allan, tests the depth of the squad and the coach's ability to find effective tactical solutions.

For Flamengo, a victory is essential to remain in the dispute for the Brazilian Championship title. Every point gained is valuable, and the Rio team cannot afford to stumble, especially against a direct opponent like Grêmio. In addition to the pressure to win, Flamengo will have to show resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity. The way the team deals with the absence of key players could be a determining factor for the rest of the season.

The clash between Flamengo and Grêmio is one of those games that makes fans' hearts race. Brazilian football is experiencing moments of excitement and expectation, and all eyes will be on Porto Alegre on Wednesday night, when these two giants of the sport will face each other. Flamengo fans, even though they are aware of the challenges the team will face, remain optimistic and confident in their players' good performance. The red and black shirt is synonymous with passion and dedication, and the hope of victory is present in every corner of Brazil. The match between Flamengo and Grêmio is another exciting chapter in Brazilian football, full of stories, rivalries and unforgettable moments. Fans can't wait to see how this story will unfold in Porto Alegre and whether Flamengo will be able to overcome the absences to continue in search of another title in the Brasileirão.

Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol, signed a sponsorship contract with Mizuno, becoming the new ambassador for the Japanese brand. After more than a decade with Nike, the Flamengo striker signed a six-year agreement with Mizuno. According to journalist Carolina Alberti, from UOL, Gabigol is the first Brazilian athlete to form a partnership with the company.

Mizuno's general manager, Rogério Barenco, explained the reasons behind choosing Gabigol to represent the brand, highlighting the visibility and striking personality of the number 99, both on and off the field. The player himself announced the new sponsorship on his Instagram profile.

“We found in Gabriel this issue of determination, of the search for excellence. We understand that he is an athlete who brings these values. Our slogan within Mizuno is reach beyond, and Gabriel certainly brings us this value”, said the manager.

“In addition to having this great strength within from the field, he also has a lot of strength off the field. […] Gabriel is a very authentic guy, he has his own style, and his influence transcends football. People are seeing him on his social media, how he dresses, how he behaves. We will also be working on him using Mizuno on a daily basis”, continued Rogério.

Gabigol gave tips about the new agreement with Mizuno

Before the official announcement, Gabigol had already raised speculation by posting enigmatic content on social media, with some publications making reference to Japan. These posts fueled rumors of a possible agreement with an Asian brand.

Barenco also commented on the great repercussion of the publications by the red-and-black idol, highlighting the positive impact on the Japanese brand.

“That’s exactly the noise we want to have. And I think this is one of the things that most led us to close this contract with him. The people, the fans, the football community, journalists, everyone watching what Gabriel is doing. He draws the spotlight to him. And we are happy with the repercussion”, said the brand representative.

Rafinha Alcântara, currently without a club since ending his contract with Al-Arabi, from Qatar, in July, made it clear that he has a great connection with Flamengo, even though he has never played in Brazilian football. In an interview with the program Que Partidazo, in 2019, the midfielder, who built his career internationally, revealed that he was a long-time fan of Mais Querido.

During the interview, the 31-year-old player, son of four-time champion Mazinho, recalled his career in European football, where he played for big clubs, such as Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. But what caught the attention of Mengão fans was his confession that he dreams of one day wearing the CRF shirt.

“I do think about playing for Flamengo. Everyone knows that I'm a big fan and supporter of the club. I followed and was very happy with the Brasileirão and Libertadores titles. It’s a dream to wear the Flamengo shirt”, said Rafinha Alcântara, generating euphoria among the red and black fans.

NEGOTIATIONS WITH FLAMENGO

After his public statement, Flamengo's board of directors even investigated the situation of the player, who at the time was still linked to European football and had no intention of returning to Brazil. Now, without a club and free on the market, Rafinha can arrive at the Rio club without transfer costs, but Mengão's directors do not seem to have the athlete as a priority at the moment.

Still, there is speculation that Rafinha Alcântara could be made official at Gávea for the 2025 season, depending on changes in the squad and technical committee, which is currently led by Tite.

TRAJECTORY OF RAFINHA IN EUROPEAN FOOTBALL

Rafinha Alcântara began his career in Barcelona's youth teams, where he played until being promoted to the professional squad. Over the years, he has spent time at clubs such as Celta de Vigo, Inter Milan, Real Sociedad, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, where he played alongside Neymar. His last club was Al-Arabi, in Qatar, where he played 40 matches, scored nine goals and provided 10 assists.
