FLAMENGO'S URUGUAIO QUARTET NOW HAS A DATE TO RETURN TO THE TEAM - CHECK IT OUT

Leader of the Brasileirão, Flamengo arrives in full force in Brasília to face Criciúma in the 18th round of the competition. Rubro-Negro will have the return of Arrascaeta, De La Cruz, Viña and Varela, who were serving their teams in the Copa América. The players are expected to reinforce the team in the clash against Tigre.

The game between Flamengo and Criciúma is promoted by Metrópoles Sports and will take place on July 20th, Saturday, at 4pm, at Arena BRB Mané Garrincha. This will be Mengão's first commitment after the dispute for third place in the Copa América, between Canada and Uruguay, a team that includes the stars of the Gávea team. In the Federal District, Flamengo's stars should return to Tite's team, being key players in the search for the title of Brazilian champion.


Fans who wish to watch Mengão at the stadium can now purchase their tickets. Sales to the general public began at 10am this Wednesday (10), via the ‘Bilheteria Digital’ website. Prices range from R$98 to R$358, and the gates open on the day of the game at 4:30 pm. Tickets are also available at physical points.



COMMITMENT BEFORE CRICIÚMA

Before facing Criciúma, Flamengo has another important commitment. This Thursday (11), Mengão will host Fortaleza at 8pm at Maracanã, for the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship. At the moment, the team led by Tite occupies the isolated leadership of the Brasileirão, with 31 points won.


IMPORTANCE OF RETURNS

The returns of Arrascaeta, De La Cruz, Viña and Varela are essential for Flamengo to maintain its performance and seek victory against Criciúma. Out of 24 possible points, the team he only scored eight goals, in addition to scoring 10 goals and conceding 13. While Flamengo loses steam in an important part of the competition, the opponents above are gaining an advantage. The best return campaign is Fortaleza, with 19 points, followed by Palmeiras (17) and Botafogo (16). The three are even ahead of Mais Querido in the table.

Flamengo faces Peñarol next Thursday, in the return of the Libertadores quarter-finals. The match will be in Uruguay, at the Campeón del Siglo stadium and in order to take care of its fans, Fla issued a note sending recommendations to the red and blacks who go to the neighboring country to watch the match. < br>

"Recommendations from the Peñarol Security Commission and the National Police of Uruguay to Flamengo fans who will travel to watch the match against the Uruguayan club, this Thursday (26):

Flamengo went behind on the scoreboard in the first leg against Peñarol, last Thursday (19), when they lost 1-0 at Maracanã. Now, in order to qualify without any fear, Mais Querido will have to score more than one goal in the return match, in Uruguay. Trying to bring positive energy to the Nation, Arrascaeta sent an optimistic message on social media.

On his Instagram, this past Friday (20), the Mais Querido midfielder wrote: “Nothing like a day after another. Until the end.” The phrase was published alongside a photo in the dressing room at Ninho do Urubu, where Mais Querido trained.


Having lost 1-0 at Maracanã, Flamengo will have to score two goals at the Campeón Stadium del Siglo, in Montevideo. If you win with the minimum difference, the match will go to a penalty shootout. However, Peñarol enters the field with the advantage of a draw.


FOCUS ON THE TURNING BACK

Tite and the red-black board defined that the holders of the confrontation against Peñarol but Léo Ortiz is out of the match against Grêmio, for the Brasileirão. The group will stay in Rio de Janeiro for training with a focus on the return game of the Libertadores.
