Vinicius Júnior, from Real Madrid, Lucas Paquetá, from West Ham, and Pedro, from Flamengo, are among the players nominated for the Samba Gold award. The award is given annually to the best Brazilian player and under-20 player playing in the world.

Pedro is the only one on the list who plays in Brazil. Rodrygo, from Real Madrid, Savinho, from Manchester City and Andreas Pereira, from Fulham, are other names on the list. Endrick, from Real Madrid, and Estêvão, from Palmeiras, appear among the nominees in the under-20 category.


In the female category, Marta fights for another career award among other names such as Gabi Portillo and Tamires, from Corinthians, and Bia Zaneratto, from Kansas City.
