Raça Rubra-Negra thanks Flamengo president after returning to the stands

After announcing their return to the stands , Raça Rubro-Negra published an official thank you to everyone who helped the fans return after two years of punishment. Thus, Flamengo's president, Luiz Eduardo Baptista, was mentioned in the note.

The note from Raça Rubro-Negra , signed by president Deivison Alves and vice-president Leonardo Cardoso, is emphatic in stating that the return would not have happened without the approval and direct support of Flamengo , through Luiz Eduardo Baptista.

The note highlights that, in less than five months of management, Bap, "even without the support of the fans in the last elections – important to be said – and without any promise or compensation", made the club available to mediate the dialogue with public bodies.

After a 2-year suspension, the Raça Rubro-Negra will return to the stands of Maracanã. Thus, Flamengo will be able to count on a great reinforcement for the rest of the season. The organized group should be present in the match between Mais Querido and São Paulo , on the 12th, at Maracanã.

Modesty aside, the return of fans to the stands after almost a decade of punishment reflects, above all, a cultural metamorphosis led by the current board, with the indispensable support of monitors and regional leaders. The change in mentality and behavior was a fundamental point, without which the fans would continue to suffer in the stagnation caused by the culture of violence and nonconformity that has taken root in recent decades. The return and the victim attitude were not compatible. Accepting the systematic mistakes of the past and committing to an effective change in behavior formed the basis of the actions that culminated in the return.

The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, represented by its president Luiz Eduardo Baptista, known as Bap, and its director Marcelo Conti. The Rio de Janeiro State Public Prosecutor's Office, the Rio de Janeiro State Military Police and the Rio de Janeiro State Court of Justice.
