After the departure of Mário Jorge, Filipe Luís will take over the under-20 team of Mais Querido. Therefore, so that the coach has a strong team to compete for the main titles in the category, Flamengo acted quickly and hired defender Wesley Juan, 19 years old, who played for Acadêmico Viseu, from Portugal.

According to information from Flazoeiro, Wesley Juan will sign a contract with Mais Querido for a year and a half. In addition, the athlete's contract will have a renewal option trigger for another two seasons. In other words, he could gain some opportunities in the professional team soon.

The scout department of Rubro-Negrowas delighted with Wesley's good ball output, added to the balls long runs behind the opposing defensive line. The Portuguese team kept a small percentage of the defender, but the numbers were not disclosed. In Brazilian football, the young man played for SKA Brasil and Portuguesa Santista.

REINFORCEMENT FOR THE U-20 WORLD PLAY

Wesley arrives at Mais Querido as a reinforcement for the U20 Club World Cup final. This is because the competition will be on August 24th, against Olympiacos, from Greece, at Maracanã. Thus, the young man could be linked to Filipe Luís.

For SKA Brasil, Wesley Juan was one of the main highlights in Paulistão's under-17 runner-up in the 2021 season. Now, the young man will have a great opportunity to play for one of the main teams in Brazil.

The infraction caused great repercussion among fans and the sports media, raising debates about discipline on the field and the consequences of the players' actions.

With the punishment defined, Bruno Henrique will be absent from the first game of the round of 16 of the Libertadores final, where Flamengo will face Bolivar. The striker's absence is a significant blow for the team, which considers Bruno Henrique a key player in its offensive scheme. Flamengo will now have to adjust its formation for the important match, looking for alternatives to make up for the player's absence.

Alternatives include the possibility of promoting a young talent from the base or repositioning an experienced player to fill the vacancy. Expectations are high regarding the strategy that will be adopted to maintain the team's competitiveness in the continental competition.

Meanwhile, Bruno Henrique is serving his suspension and working to be in full physical and mental shape for the upcoming challenges . The R$8,000 fine, although significant, is not the main focus of concern for the player, who is more interested in contributing to Flamengo's success in the Libertadores and other competitions the team competes in.
