0Flamengo's standout and top scorer in the 2024 Copinha and Under-20 Libertadores Champion, Welinton is Botafogo's new reinforcement for the remainder of the season. The young striker will play in the rival's youth categories. The player returns to Rio de Janeiro on loan, provided by Juventude.
Welinton was one of Mais Querido's highlights in the 2024 São Paulo Junior Football Cup, being the team's top scorer in the competition, with six goals . Furthermore, the striker played as a starter in the under-20 Libertadores, in March, when Rubro-Negro beat Boca Juniors (ARG). However, the player did not find the net in the tournament. In the category's Brasileirão, there were three goals in 11 matches.
DEPARTURE FROM FLAMENGO
The young striker had a contract with Flamengo until July this year, but Rubro-Negro ended up not exercising the right to purchase from Juventude. Thus, the player returned to Caxias do Sul. However, now in September, Botafogo signed with the athlete until the end of December 2024.
It is worth remembering that Welinton's contract with Flamengo was valid until January 2024. However, Tite asked the board to extend the contract for another six months, in order to observe the young man.
VALUE THAT FLAMENGO WOULD HAVE TO PAY
For Rubro-Negro to be able to keep the player permanently, the club would have to pay around R$1 million for 50% of the economic rights. In the contract, the teams agreed that Mais Querido could buy 70% for R$ 1.5 million.
The young striker is being coveted by several clubs in Portugal and could earn Mais Querido a good amount of money

0With the European transfer window open until the end of this month, clubs are racing against time to find new reinforcements. Thus, the creation ofFlamengo, André Luiz, is one of the desired names. Estrela Amadora, from Portugal, the team that holds the player's rights, has already set a sale price, and Mais Querido could also make a profit.
According to information from the Portuguese newspaper 'A Bola', Braga (POR), Vitória de Guimarães (POR) and the Rio Ave (POR) have already started negotiations with Estrela Amadora to try to sign André Luiz. Thus, the team that holds the striker's rights demands 3 million euros (R$ 18.7 million).
VALUE THAT FLAMENGO CAN RECEIVE
The Mais Querido won André Luiz to Estrela Amadora for 500 thousand euros (R$ 2.87 million) for 60% of the player's economic rights. Thus, Rubro-Negro kept 32% of this amount. Thus, if the young man is sold for R$18.7 million, Flamengo would receive R$5.98 million.
PASSING THROUGH FLAMENGO
André Luiz stood out at América-RJ, but was bought by Flamengo in 2020 to play for the under-20 team. The following year, the player had his first opportunity with the main team, before returning to the base. In 2023, Mais Querido traded the young man on loan and, in 2024, sold him to Estrela Amadora.
In the current season , André Luiz played 13 games, seven as a starter. In this way, the striker scored two goals and provided two assists to his teammates. The young man has a contract with Estrela Amadora until June 2028.

The Singaporean brand will print the sleeves of the shirts of the men's and women's football teams, as well as the basketball team. The sponsorship will yield R$ 12 million fixed to Flamengo. Payment will be made in three installments of R$4 million (February, April and July). There is still a variable value. That's 5% of sales in the Shopee affiliate program.
Thebrand will be on the sleeves of the game, training and warm-up shirt of the men's and women's football teams. In basketball, it is in front of the game, training and warm-up shorts. In terms of comparison, Kwai paid R$10 million for the same space in the 2024 season. The contract with Shopee will be until December 31, 2025.
On the back, Flamengo will not immediately fill the gap left by Mercado Livre. A test will be carried out with the FlaBet exhibition for a period of three months. The idea is to leverage the number of bets and earn more royalties, as you receive 1% of the gross value of bets.
