The Flamengo announced this Saturday (31) the arrivals of left-back Alex Sandro and striker Gonzalo Plata at Ninho do Urubu. The players must now train with their new teammates and made a video sending a message to the Rubro-Negra Nation on social media. The defender is already regularized with BID from CBF and is already cleared to debut for the club this Sunday (1), against Corinthians. The chances, however, are remote due to the few training sessions with the group.

The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores. Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region.
