The goalkeeper has been determined to mark his name in Flamengo's history
|
0In an interview with the "GE" portal, Argentine goalkeeper Agustín Rossi shared details about his career at Flamengo and his personal life. Newly arrived at the Rio club, Rossi highlighted his ambition to leave a lasting legacy, inspired by a conversation with former goalkeeper Fillol, an icon for both the club Flamengo as for Argentina.
Rossi recalled Fillol's history at Flamengo and how the former Argentine goalkeeper's brief spell at the club left a mark. "When I arrived here I heard about Fillol's time, who didn't stay for long, but was a great goalkeeper for the Argentines. I had a conversation on FlaTV with him on the other side of the screen", said Rossi. He emphasized the importance of playing for Flamengo and how Fillol still holds a special memory for the fans and the club. "He has this memory of the nation, of the fans, that he was a little regretful about leaving Flamengo."
A LEGACY PASSED ON BY THE ARGENTINA
The Argentine goalkeeper expressed his desire to build a long and successful career at Flamengo, aiming for many achievements. "I told him, as I said in my presentation, that I want to stay here for a long time to achieve many achievements. Having achieved the unbeaten record was a great start in my history here at the club. I want to continue along this path making history here", said Rossi.
In addition to his determination on the field, Rossi highlighted his personal and calm side outside the four lines. He described his daily routine, which revolves around family and simple activities away from the spotlight. "Off the field, I'm a person who likes to be calm. When I get home, it depends on whether training is in the morning or afternoon, I like to wake up my son, get him ready to go to the playground in the condominium, have lunch or coffee with the my wife", revealed the goalkeeper.
