After the game against Bolívar, this last Thursday (16), goalkeeper Augustín Rossi held a press conference together with Tite. When asked about his teammates' injuries, the archer rubro -negro made clear his dissatisfaction with the Brazilian football calendar and highlighted that the sport goes beyond the commercial side.
“It is the strength of the group that has to push and support the team now. The timing on the calendar is that we have less than 72 hours for Sunday's game and then we have to prepare for the game at altitude. Football is not just a business, there are players too, you have to think about that”, said the Mais Querido goalkeeper.
ROSSI TALKS ABOUT FOCUS ON COMPETITIONSIn addition to criticizing the Brazilian calendar, Rossi also emphasized the importance of maintaining focus on the competitions: “We have to be strong in the head”, said the archer, remembering that soon after he will have to face Bolívar at Altitude de La Paz.
GAME WORTH THE LEADERSHIPThe classic against Botafogo could be worth the leadership of the Brasileirão for the Flamengo, which is in third place at the moment, with 41 points. However, Mais Querido needs to beat its rival, who is in first place, with 43 points, and hope for a stumble by Fortaleza, who is in second place, with 42.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.
