0After the game against Bolívar, this last Thursday (16), goalkeeper Augustín Rossi held a press conference together with Tite. When asked about his teammates' injuries, the archer rubro -negro made clear his dissatisfaction with the Brazilian football calendar and highlighted that the sport goes beyond the commercial side.
“It is the strength of the group that has to push and support the team now. The timing on the calendar is that we have less than 72 hours for Sunday's game and then we have to prepare for the game at altitude. Football is not just a business, there are players too, you have to think about that”, said the Mais Querido goalkeeper.
ROSSI TALKS ABOUT FOCUS ON COMPETITIONSIn addition to criticizing the Brazilian calendar, Rossi also emphasized the importance of maintaining focus on the competitions: “We have to be strong in the head”, said the archer, remembering that soon after he will have to face Bolívar at Altitude de La Paz.
GAME WORTH THE LEADERSHIPThe classic against Botafogo could be worth the leadership of the Brasileirão for the Flamengo, which is in third place at the moment, with 41 points. However, Mais Querido needs to beat its rival, who is in first place, with 43 points, and hope for a stumble by Fortaleza, who is in second place, with 42.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

PRAISES FROM MARCOS BRAZ TO ROSSI
Marcos Braz, vice-president of football at Rubro Negro, praised the goalkeeper in the dressing room. Alongside president Rodolfo Landim, the technical committee and the cast, Braz praised Rossi.
“We know that football is a team sport, but I can't help but thank and congratulate Rossi . Since 1912, when Flamengo football began, Flamengo has not had a goalkeeper sequence with this record. You beat Cantarele's record and at the club. This proves what you did to be here”, he said.
Marcos Braz also remembered the goalkeeper's arrival in Gávea, in the middle of last year. Rubro Negro overcame tough competition in the transfer market to sign him.
“He signed a pre-contract, playing for Boca Juniors, at the end of his contract, he could have gone to various places, but if there's one guy who wanted to be here, it was you. You are worthy. It's a thank you on behalf of President Landim and everyone here. You are f***ing deserving. Now, let these numbers become titles, which is what applies to all of us. Thank you!”.
ROSSI THANKS COMPANIONSThus, after receiving the praise, Rossi thanked his teammates and commented on the club's great phase: “When I chose to come to Flamengo, I knew it was the biggest team in Brazil. Today, breaking this mark, this record, in my professional career and life here at Flamengo, which started recently, I think is very important. I'm very happy, but I also have to thank the goalkeeper trainers, who always work in our daily lives, the whole team, the committee. Everyone who works at CT is very important to us so that we are well and respond on the field,” he said. P>
