De La Cruz is in the final stages of recovery from an injury to his right thigh and is already getting closer to a return to the pitch. On the afternoon of this Monday, September 16th, coach Tite had the Uruguayan player present in training on the field, indicating that he is getting closer to being ready to play.

This return of De La Cruz comes at an important time, especially with proximityof the game against a great opponent at Maracanã, scheduled for next Thursday, September 19th. The presence of the Uruguayan midfielder is seen as a possible important addition to the team, as he is a fundamental piece in the tactical scheme and contributes greatly to the team's offensive performance.

THE CLUB THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE

De La Cruz's injury had been a point of concern for both the player and the coaching staff. The thigh is a vulnerable region for high-performance athletes, and injuries to this area can result in long recovery periods. However, the fact that he is already participating in activities on the field suggests that his recovery process was effective, and the medical team's planning has worked as expected.

This type of muscle injury requires specific care, and the return to training generally occurs gradually. De La Cruz's presence in training does not necessarily mean that he will play the full match on Thursday, but it is a strong indication that he could at least be available for a few minutes on the field, depending on how he feels in the next few weeks. days. This will be decided after evaluation by the technical and medical committee, which will analyze his performance in the remaining training sessions before the clash.

De La Cruz's return would also be a relief for Tite, who seeks to maintain the Flamengocompetitive in all competitions in that the team is involved. The coach has been facing a difficult sequence of games, with the team having to deal with absences
