Rubro-Negro will play matches without five players called up for the tournament

The Copa América is approaching and Flamengo is one of the Brazilian clubs most affected due to the Brazilian Championship not being stopped during the period. In total, Rubro-Negro will be without five of the team's starting players for the period. These are the cases of Arrascaeta, De la Cruz, Varela and Viña, from the Uruguay team, and Erick Pulgar, from Chile.
In analyzing the situation, journalist André Rizek understands that Mais Querido will suffer during the period. In argument, during the programming of the Sportv channels, the communicator characterized the problem that Tite will face.
“Flamengo (without the squad) still has a great team on paper. But you shake a structure that is victorious at this moment. Half the team leaves. And to come back later? You bring these guys (reserves) together and then return the starters”, he began.
In addition, Rizek stated that the scenario could complicate Rubro-Negro's intentions of being champion of the Brazilian Championship. He also took a stance against the continuation of matches during the national team tournament.
“Without exaggeration, the Copa América has the possibility of destroying Flamengo's title. It's very wrong. A club cannot lose five players during a championship. If Flamengo slips too far, the club already has a real excuse ready. In a civilized place, you cannot play a competition without five players because they are defending the team”, he concluded.
Finally, Flamengo could spend nine Brasileirão games without the five players. Everything will depend on which stage the Uruguay and Chile teams will be eliminated. The Copa América takes place on June 20th and July 14th.

Flamengo announced details about ticket sales for the first leg of the Copa do Brasil semi-final, which will take place against Corinthians. In the knockout stage, the team had just one victory in four matches and did not score goals in the last three games, against Bolívar (BOL) and Peñarol.
TITE FIRED?
