Os Garotos do Ninho returns to the field this Wednesday afternoon (1). At 2pm, the ball rolls for Flamengo x Cruzeiro, for the 5th round of the Brasileirão under-20; Check below where to watch the Mais Querido match live.
Mais Querido is the current champion of the Brasileirão and Libertadores under-20 and will be looking for his third victory in this edition of the national competition in the category. This way, red and black fans can follow Garotos do Ninho through closed TV.
This is because Flamengo x Cruzeiro will only be broadcast on SporTV, Rede Globo's subscription channel. The broadcast was confirmed by the CBF, on the competition's website.

Nigerian striker Elija Shola renewed his residence visa, guaranteeing his stay in Brazil for another five years. The renewal of the permission was requested by Flamengo to the Federal Government. Furthermore, the player signed a new contract with the club, which is now valid until the end of 2027.
Although Shola has not yet debuted for Flamengo's professional team, he was listed for the classic against Flamengo. Botafogo, which ended with a 4-1 defeat at the Nilton Santos stadium. The striker was one of the highlights of Flamengo's under-20 team, which won the Libertadores and Intercontinental in the category.

FLAMENGO CAMPAIGN IN THE BRASILEIRÃOThe first phase of the Brasileirão under-17 had two groups of 10 teams. Mais Querido finished in third place in A, with 15 chicks. In total, there were nine games, with five wins and four losses. Furthermore, Flamengo scored 19 goals and conceded 12, with a 55% success rate.
BRASILEIRÃO REGULATIONSThus, if there is no winner in the sum of the scores, the classification of the teams will be defined in penalties. The criteria will also apply to the semi-finals. In a single game in the quarter-finals of the Brasileirão U20, Flamengo was defeated by Fortaleza 1-0, this Thursday afternoon (29), in Gávea. With the result, Garotos do Ninho ended their participation in the championship.
The match began with Fortaleza threatening Lucas Furtado's goal, but Garotos do Ninho quickly calmed the game down and began exchanging passes in the attacking field. With greater possession of the ball, the red and black team circled the opponent's area, but had difficulties in creating plays.
At 25', Flamengo had the first great chance to open the scoring. Adriel received it at the edge of the area, moved it to his left and shot hard. The ball hit the crossbar. In the final stretch, Wallace Yan went down the left and crossed into the area. Guilherme infiltrated the back of the defense and headed over the goal. The first half ended without a goal.
In the second half, the red and black team continued exchanging passes in the offensive field, but were unable to create clear scoring chances. At 24', Lucas Furtado made a beautiful save, saving the red-black team. Four minutes later, Mengão's goalkeeper shone again with another great intervention.
Fortaleza was better in the match and wasted several chances to take the lead. In the last minute of injury time, Fortaleza scored the winning goal with Kauê Canela: 1 to 0. The result eliminated Flamengo from the competition.
