Flamengo's academy is the best in Brazil! This past Saturday afternoon (18), Mais Querido's under-14 team became two-time champions of the Abano Footeball Trophy tournament, in Italy. The Boys of the Ninho beat Empoli by the score of 3-1 and won the title of the 30th edition of the traditional youth tournament undefeated.MATCH SUMMARY

The Mais Querido started the first half being the best on the field, he was moving around the Italian team's area and the goal seemed like a matter of time. After stealing the ball in the offensive field, Léo made a beautiful individual play and played the ball to Davi Fraga, and Mais Querido's number 10 finished firmly in the corner.

Rubro's second goal Black happened just after eight minutes of the second half and left Flamengo in a great situation. This time, Léo received a pass inside the area and sent a strong shot. The goal guaranteed the young man as the tournament's top scorer.

Flamengo U-17 had a safe and convincing performance this Saturday, beating Olaria 5-1, in the last round of the first phase of the Copa Rio. With this result, the Garotos do Ninho guaranteed their qualification for the semi-finals of the competition.

The red and black goals were scored by João Camargo, Luiz Phellipe, Alan, Yago and Lipão, showing the diversity of the team's offensive options. Under the command of coach Filipe Luís, Flamengo is now preparing to face Botafogo in the semifinals. The first game will be in Gávea, while the second will be at the opponent's home.

After gaining 24 points on the leaderboard, Garotos do Ninho will face Botafogo in the semifinals of the Copa Rio U-17. The two Rio rivals will compete for a place in the final in two games, with the first being in Gávea and the second at the opponent's home.

In addition to the Under-17 category, Flamengo Under-15 also had a great performance on Saturday, beating Olaria 7-0. The goals were scored by Anthony (2x) , Andrades, Guilherme Ivo, Emanuel (2x) and Kauã.
