0The Brazilian under-20 team will have another session of training and friendlies with coach Ramon Menezes. On this FIFA Date, the Amarelinha coach called up four Flamengo players: They are: Iago, João Victor, Matheus Gonçalves and Rayan Lucas.
The midfielder and the two defenders from Mais Querido appeared on the first list released by the Brazilian team. Matheus Gonçalves was among the last-minute players. This is because, last Friday (30), the midfielder was included on the list in place of Alisson, from Atlético-MG, who was cut due to injury.
In addition to training at Granja Comary, the athletes called up by the Brazilian team will have two friendlies against Mexico. The first will take place on Thursday (5). The second will be on Sunday (8). It is worth noting that both games will be played at 6:30 pm, in São Januário.

0João Victor Souza, under-20 world champion with Flamengo last month, signed the renewal of his contract with the club until 2029. Even at his young age, João Victor has already been called up to the Brazilian Under-20 Team and played in the two recent friendlies against Mexico, held in São Januário. The highlight of the defender's career to date was his participation in the U20 World Cup final in August this year. João Victor, born in 2007, was a starter in the decision against Olympiacos, from Greece, at Maracanã, where Flamengo won the victory by 2 to 1, coming from behind, becoming champion.
After signing the new contract, João Victor celebrated the renewal on his social networks, publishing: “Exalted be the name of the Lord”, accompanied by a heart. Flamengo, in turn, also expressed support for the young athlete, wishing "many achievements with the Sacred Mantle" on its page official.
After defending the Brazilian team, João Victor returns to Flamengo focusing on the Carioca U20 Championship. Next Saturday (14), the team will face Nova Iguaçu in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the competition. In the first leg, Flamengo won 2-0, and now they could even lose by two goals to guarantee a place in the semi-finals. The confrontation will take place at 9:30 am (Brasília time), in Gávea.
