Sesc Flamengo beat Londrina 3 sets to 0 (28/26, 25/13 and 25/13), this Wednesday (24), in the second round of the Taça Brasil. The team led by Hélio Griner maintained its undefeated record in the preparatory tournament and demonstrated progress, with elastic scores after a balanced first set.
The red-and-black team demonstrated good serving efficiency, efficient middle blockers, and precise distribution from the setters. Helena, Tainara, and Mikaela once again stood out , contributing to a convincing victory over their opponents from Paraná.
Hélio Griner made only one change to the starting lineup compared to the debut: Serbian Masa Kirov took over the middle blocker position in place of Juju. The starting lineup featured Giovana as setter, Tainara as opposite, Lorena and Masa as middle blockers, Helena and Karina as wings, and Laís as libero.
During the match, the coach used his entire squad. Vivian Lima and Camila Mesquita came on to reverse the 5-1 deficit , while Mikaela and Juju gained ground from the second set onward. In the third, youngsters Adria, Vittoria Kuehne, and Victoria also had opportunities.

The tournament is played in a quadrangular format, with Gerdau Minas and Londrina Vôlei completing the key.
Under the command of assistant coach Helio Griner, the team displayed balance and collective power in decisive moments. Even with the absence of coach Bernardinho, who was unable to travel due to the death of his mother, and without outside hitter Simone Lee , who was recovering from a cut on her foot, Sesc RJ Flamengo dominated the court. Middle blocker Juju was the top scorer with 15 points, followed by opposite Tainara (14) and outside hitter Helena (13).
Sesc Flamengo 's next match will be this Wednesday (24), at 6:30 pm, against Londrina Vôlei, again at the Moringão gym, with live broadcast on CazéTV . The match is valid for the second round of the quadrangular. On Thursday (25), at 9 pm, the team faces Gerdau Minas, also with live broadcast.

In its debut in the Taça Brasil, this Tuesday (09/23), the red-and-black team defeated Sancor Maringá by 3 sets to 0 , with partial scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-20, at the Moringão gym, in Londrina (PR). The tournament is played in a quadrangular format, which also includes Gerdau Minas and Londrina Vôlei, in round-robin matches to determine the champion.
Under assistant coach Helio Griner , Sesc RJ Flamengo stood out for its collective strength, especially in decisive moments. The team had to deal with significant absences: coach Bernardinho did not travel to Paraná after the death of his mother, and outside hitter Simone Lee is still recovering from a cut on her foot.
Middle blocker Juju was the star of the match, scoring 15 points. Opposite Tainara contributed 14 points, and outside hitter Helena had 13. "I'm really happy, first of all with the result. I really enjoy being able to help the team in the best way possible ," she said before concluding.
" We knew the importance of this game, as we are a renewed group. We came to this championship with the goal of participating in everything, of integrating the group more and more. We will work hard to seek our growth each day," said Juju after the match.

Currently, the opposite hitter plays for Denso Airybees in Japan, where she recently renewed her contract. An idol of the Asian team, she will play her sixth season with the club , but Mengão continues to monitor the developments in the Brazilian national team's career.
While dreaming about Rosamaria, Flamengo has already secured important reinforcements for the season . So far, the club has announced the arrival of five players: Tainara (opposite player for the Brazilian national team), Giovana, Vivian, Masa Kiryu, and American Simone Lee.
