Flamengo surpassed the mark of 1 million tickets sold in 2023. The mark came thanks to the opening of sales for the Libertadores game against Aucas (EQU), in the last round of the first phase of the continental tournament. This is because in the last round played in the Brazilian Championship, the club brought 62,967 people to the Maracanã stadium, in the 3-0 victory over Grêmio.
In principle, it is one of the records in the country, even more so taking into account account of the excellent attendance averages obtained in the competitions in force this season. In total, 1,015,101 football tickets have been sold so far in 2023. One of the success points for this performance is the digital part provided by one of the club's partners, Imply.
The platform has offering a personalized environment with innovative experiences designed for high audience volumes, security through anti-fraud technologies and operational efficiency, including digital tools and support, and box office staff. In both, an average of 400 tickets were sold per minute.
The clash against Racing-ARG, two weeks ago, recorded the largest audience for Brazilian teams as hosts in the current edition of the Libertadores: there were 58,867 paying and 63,963 present. In Brazilian football, the record also belongs to Rubro-Negro, in the 2-0 victory over Fluminense, in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil - there were 64,787 paying and 69,978 present.
Flamengo returns to the field this Thursday, but as a visitor. Play against Bragantino, at 9:30 pm.

Journalist Julio Miguel Neto reported that he spoke with Marcão, the player's father and representative. According to him, there has been no official contact so far from the athlete, who left Mais Querido to play for the Russian team.
" If anything came up, it was from club to club. I haven't been officially notified by anyone yet. I haven't offered him to any club ," the businessman declared.
Still, the possibility isn't ruled out, as it's common for Middle Eastern clubs to engage directly with teams before negotiating with players. It remains to be seen whether negotiations will progress in the coming days.

Flamengo returns to the field this Sunday (31) to face Grêmio , in a match valid for the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship. The duel takes place at Maracanã, at 4 pm (Brasília time), and marks another challenge for the team led by Filipe Luís, who leads the competition with 46 points.
For the match, the coach confirmed the entry of De La Cruz in midfield, filling in for the injured Jorginho. Flamengo will therefore field the following players: Rossi; Varela, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, and Ayrton Lucas; De La Cruz, Saúl, and Arrascaeta; Gonzalo Plata, Samuel Lino, and Pedro.
Mengão will be without three players. Erick Pulgar is still recovering from foot surgery, while Alex Sandro is nursing a calf injury. Jorginho is in the medical department due to pain in the hamstring of his left thigh.
