Brazilian football could soon receive a major boost. Emerson Royal, currently at Tottenham, in England, is considering the possibility of returning to Brazil. With his future undefined in Europe, the full-back has been investigated by several clubs, including Flamengo.

Without many chances in the Premier League, Emerson Royal has aroused the interest of other major European clubs, such as Milan and Bayern Munich. However, the player is focused on finding a club where he can play more regularly, aiming for a possible return to the Brazilian team

The full-back has been bothered by the lack of opportunities at Tottenham. In an interview with EPTV, an affiliate of Rede Globo, Emerson Royal highlighted his competitiveness and frustration at being on the bench. "It bothers me a lot to be on the bench. I was upset and told the coach that. I've always been very professional and one of those who put the most intensity in training, but this situation doesn't work for me", said the player.

He also highlighted his desire to play regularly. "I'm not a player who stays on the bench. I want to play. If it's not here, I understand. But I want to go somewhere I can play", added Emerson Royal, who has been scouted by Flamengo.

FLAMENGO INTERESTED

Flamengo, which has been active in the transfer market, is one of the clubs interested in Emerson Royal. However, Tottenham set a high value for the negotiation, asking for more than R$100 million for the player. The expectation is that negotiations will progress in the coming days, with Flamengo trying to bring the full-back back to Brazil.
