With the Uruguay or Chile teams advancing to the semi-finals of the Copa América, Flamengo could face a significant challenge in the Brazilian Championshipo. The team, currently at the top of the championship, is at risk of losing some of its key players in up to nine important matches. These absences could affect games against strong teams, complicating the journey towards the title.

If the Uruguay or Chile teams reach the semi-finals, Flamengo could be without their squad for a long period. Matches that may be affected include clashes against Grêmio (Maracanã), Athletico-PR (Ligga Arena), Bahia (Maracanã), Fluminense (Maracanã), Juventude (Alfredo Jaconi), Cruzeiro (Maracanã), Atlético-MG (Arena MRV) , Cuiabá (Maracanã) and Fortaleza (Maracanã).

FLAMENGO HAS IMPASSE IN THE CUP AMERICA

The situation is aggravated due to the density of the Brazilian football calendar. Brazilian Championship games often take place in a short period of time, requiring a robust squad prepared to face the marathon of games. With the absences of the players called up, the Flamengo coach will have to find alternatives within the squad to maintain performance and guarantee the necessary results.

Possible absences in the aforementioned matches represent a great challenge. Facing traditional opponents like Grêmio, Fluminense and Atlético-MG without some of their stars could make Flamengo's task of remaining in the lead even more difficult. These games are decisive and any loss of points can directly impact the team's position in the table.

On Saturday afternoon (28), Flamengo held its last training session before facing Athletico-PR in the Brasileirão. A clash that could decide the future of coach Tite at Mengão, was attended by all the players considered to be starters, despite the expectation of a mixed team for Sunday (29).

In content published on social media of Flamengo, names like Bruno Henrique and Alex Sandro, who were starters in the Libertadores elimination, last Thursday (26), appear alongside young fledglings, such as Matheus Gonçalves and Evertton, who have been widely used in the “reserve team ” by Tite.

Flamengo may have held the last training session under Tite's command.

With his destiny becoming more uncertain at Flamengo, Tite may having led his last training session as coach of Rubro-Negro. There are four games without a win, a bad result, or poorly presented football against Athletico-PR, could mean the end of the line for the coach, just under a year after his arrival.

In the semi-finals of Copa do Brasil, where they face Corinthians, and in the G4 of the Brasileirão, Rubro-Negro's objective is clear, to become CdB champion, and remain in the classification zone for the next Libertadores in the points championship.
