In recent years, Flamengohas shown a solid performance in the Copa do Brasil, reinforcing its position as one of the main clubs in Brazilian football. In 34 games played in the tournament, the team achieved 23 wins, 6 draws and suffered only 5 defeats. These numbers translate to a 73.5% success rate, a statistic that demonstrates the club's consistency in knockout competitions.

Flamengo's attack was also one of the highlights of this campaign. Over the course of these games, the team scored 55 goals, an average of 1.61 goals per match. The offensive capacity, driven by great players, has been an essential factor in the club's success. Furthermore, the team managed to create 77 great scoring chances, a clear indication of how they can be incisive in attack and generate real opportunities to score.

A BREATHTAKING CAST

In defense, the numbers are equally impressive. Flamengo conceded just 18 goals in these 34 games, which represents an average of just 0.52 goals conceded per game. This defensive solidity can be attributed to a combination of good tactical organization, experienced players in the defensive sector and a game system that favors possession of the ball, limiting the opponents' chances.

In addition, Flamengo allowed just 22 big chances for opponents, a number that reflects how difficult it is for rival teams to create clear scoring opportunities against their team. This defensive control is fundamental to the team's strategy in knockout competitions, where small details can make all the difference.

Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. Check it out:

"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."

The auction of coats donated to the Observatory of Racial Discrimination in Football began this Thursday (2). The eight pieces available were used by the Brazilian national team players before the friendly against Spain, on March 26, at the Santiago Bernabéu. The match was part of the "One Skin, One Identity" campaign, created by the CBF and the Spanish Federation.

The funds raised will be divided between the Observatory of Racial Discrimination in Football and the Play For a platform Cause, responsible for auctioning the items. The site is recognized for selling unique items and contributes to social institutions.

The back of the coats displayed the campaign slogan in different languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish. Among the pieces available are the clothes worn by Bento and Fabrício Bruno, with the phrase in Spanish (Una Sola Piel, Una Sola Identidad), by Paquetá and João Gomes, in English (One Skin, One Identity), and by Rodrygo, Bruno Guimarães and Danilo, in Portuguese (One Skin, One Identity).

"The idea is to use the funds to maintain the project, with material and lectures in a community association that supports the sports aspect, and develop content for our networks", said Marcelo Carvalho, main executive of the Observatory of Racial Discrimination in Football.

The starting bid for the coats is R$950. The auction is open until May 13th. Click here to purchase.
