Flamengo's next match will be against Cruzeiro. The two teams meet after the end of the October FIFA Date, which ends on the 17th (Tuesday), on Thursday (19th). The atmosphere for Rio is one of renewal and newness with the arrival of the new coach. As for the Minas Gerais team, tension has been marked this season and some recent controversies reveal this.

In the early hours of last Saturday (14) to Sunday (15), some Cruzeiro fans were present at the team's arrival in Belo Horizonte, and demanded the players. They were returning from a pending match against Cuiabá in the 26th round of the Brasileirão. The game ended in a draw (0-0). There was even a fight with one of the athletes.

Rafael Cabral, the team's goalkeeper and captain, got into an argument with a fan at the airport. According to GE, the Cruzeiro fan asked: “Hey, Cruzeiro, are you going to let the team fall to the second division? Again? Not there, right? Joking with the crowd. Let's play with race, for God's sake. Messing with the fans, man”, with a lot of irritation.

Rafael then replied: “Are you going to take a photo or bother there? Talk to us straight, we are professionals, no one is messing around here. I'm talking nice to you. Do you think there are people playing here?”.

The match against Flamengo is scheduled for October 19th, at the Mineirão Stadium, in Belo Horizonte. The game is valid for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship and starts at 7:00 pm (Brasília time). While Mais Querido is fighting for a place in the Libertadores, in the G-6, Cruzeiro is in 13th place, with 31 points, just four points above the relegation zone.
