0“Flamengo lost to Corinthians 2-1 last Sunday (01), in the 25th round of the Brazilian Championship. In the post-game press conference, coach Tite was asked about Fla's poor performance in the second half of the most recent matches. The coach commented on the goals conceded and disagreed that his team performed poorly in the match.
“If they get disorganized, I associate it with the number of opportunities the opponent has in the second half. I don't see a big number. Botafogo did create a lot, because they were vertical. But not today, with all due respect, no”, said Tite.
Tite also highlighted the influence of changes in the team, which can cause changes in performance. “The team, when it comes with a lot of modifications, will sometimes fluctuate,” he commented. Furthermore, the coach recognized that squad rotation can impact the team's consistency on the field. However, he highlighted that this is part of the process, especially when facing quality opponents and having several absences.
The next Mais Querido match will only be on September 12th, a Thursday, against of Bahia, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil, at Maracanã. Flamengo won the first match 1-0 at Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova and has the advantage for the duel.

Eduardo Paes uses his social network profile to deny the article

0Last Tuesday, the candidate for re-election for mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, denied the journalist Ancelmo Gois, from Globo. In a post on Instagram, the mayor informed that the city hall will be responsible for removing the megastructure on the gas meter site, different from what was reported. Furthermore, he guaranteed that Flamengo will have its new stadium, with the best conditions and security.
The news published by Ancelmo informs that Flamengo would have to pay R$100 million to remove a large gas structure present on land acquired by the club, which is owned by CEG and CEG-Rio, which are companies that are part of the gas concessionaire Naturgy.
According to the article, the companies were informed that Flamengo is the responsible for bearing the expenses, as provided for in one of the annexes to the land purchase and transfer contract. The clause, however, does not have a specified limit.
Paes stated that the values for the transfer of the structure are different from what was pointed out in the article by Ancelmo Gois. Furthermore, it exempted Flamengo from any responsibility, and that the city hall has been planning to remove it for years.
“They are making me defend @flamengo more than I would like: let it be clear that this is not the The cost of this transfer and when it happens will be the responsibility of the city of Rio, which knows that this structure cannot be in an area that is already receiving so many residential buildings. It's been in our plans for a long time! Flamengo will have its new stadium there in the gasometer with all the quality and safety that the region demands and deserves. Period!”, published the mayor.
The club has its point of view

0Coach Tite, during his time at Flamengo, highlighted a clear and objective mentality that he believes is crucial for any team that aims for great achievements: the incessant search for titles. According to him, the mentality of "fighting for everything" is a principle that guides his work and the way he sees football. For Tite, the essence of being at a club of Flamengo's magnitude goes beyond simply participating in competitions. The focus is on fighting for every trophy available, regardless of the final result.
Tite's speech reflects what many consider to be the essence of high-level sport: continuous competition. He doesn't just talk about achievements, but about the need to maintain a level of commitment and maximum delivery, without choosing championships or prioritizing games. “You have to go all out”, as he himself said, is a mantra that exemplifies his approach. For Tite, the search for victory must be the absolute priority, regardless of whether the team is playing in a state championship, an international competition or a simple friendly match.
Tite has a long career in football, and this speech is nothing new for anyone who follows his career. In command of the Brazilian team, he always preached the importance of total focus in all competitions. The philosophy of sparing no effort, even in the face of a tight and exhausting schedule, is something that has been with the coach for a long time. At Flamengo, a club with a demanding fan base and a tradition of victories, this stance makes even more sense.
Flamengo's culture is marked by the expectation of always winning. The fans expect the team to enter the field with the same combative spirit, regardless of the opponent or the competition. By saying that "you don't have to save", Tite is, in a way, aligning his vision with that of the club. He understands that, in an environment where the pressure for titles is constant, the commitment to excellence is non-negotiable. The coach seems to embrace this pressure as part of the challenge of being on an elite team.
