With a new coach at the head of the team, Flamengo, affectionately called "Mais Querido" by its fans, keeps its hopes and objectives alive in the Brazilian Championship. However, uncertainty hovers over the club's next game, which will see them face América-MG in the 35th round. The reason for this uncertainty is the fact that the Minas Gerais club received offers to sell some of its field managers until the end of the competition.

According to information released by Rádio Itatiaia, from Belo Horizonte, América-MG is considering the possibility of playing in Uberlândia, a city located in the Triângulo Mineiro, at the Parque do Sabiá stadium, against both Atlético-MG and Flamengo. This decision could represent a significant financial injection for the club, approximately R$1 million per match, in addition to boxes in the stadium and chartered flights for 50 people.

However, this possibility has generated internal divisions within the club. club. While one wing of the board sees the sale of field control as an opportunity to reinforce América-MG's finances, others argue that it is crucial to prioritize the sporting aspect and not abandon the historic Independência stadium. To date, the match between América-MG and Flamengo in Uberlândia does not yet have a defined date and time, being listed on the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) website as "To be defined". However, the forecast is that the match will take place on November 22nd, a Wednesday, in a stadium yet to be determined.

América-MG, currently occupying 20th place in the table, with just 18 points, they are under serious threat of relegation. Now, the club is faced with the difficult decision of whether to prioritize the home factor or the financial benefit. While América-MG considers its options, Flamengo prepares for its next challenges in the Brazilian Championship. Under the command of the new coach, Tite, Mais Querido will return to the field next Thursday (19), when they will face Cruzeiro at Mineirão, in the 27th round. Currently, Flamengo occupies fifth place, with 44 points, and is looking to add more points to guarantee a direct place in the Libertadores.

After the clash with Cruzeiro, Tite will make his debut at the iconic Maracanã. On Sunday (22), Flamengo will face Vasco, in an exciting Classic of Millions, with field control in favor of Rubro-Negro. Last Sunday (15), Flamengo and Vasco drew 1-1, at Maracanã, in a match valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship. The result, although frustrating for the red and blacks, who dominated much of the match, kept them eight points behind leader Botafogo.

Mais Querido entered the field imposing his pace and controlling the actions for most of the game. The red-black goal was scored by Gerson, who has been standing out in recent matches. However, CRF conceded the draw in the final minutes, which prevented a more significant approach to the classification table.

STRATEGY FOR THE FINAL STRAIGHT OF THE BRASILEIRÃO

Even with the difference in points for Botafogo, the technical committee, led by Tite, devised a strategy focused on keeping the team competitive until the last rounds. According to information from the Coluna do Fla portal, the objective is to arrive "alive" in the fight for the title in the final five rounds.
