The gaming marathon has started and Flamengo will need maximum strength to endure all 8 matches in April. Thus, after missing the team for a month, Wesley recovered and returned to Tite's reserve team. This past Monday (15), the right-back trained normally at CT Ninho do Urubu and has the chance to be involved in the game against São Paulo, on Wednesday (17).

According to information from journalist Venê Casagrande, Wesley participated in the activity with the group fully. The player returns to the team at a more than important moment. This is because Mais Querido did not have any native athlete available against Atlético-GO. Thus, Tite had to improvise Ayrton Lucas on the right side.

WESLEY INJURY

The young full-back has not entered the field since February 20th, when he played for just eight minutes in the Mais Querido about Boavista, in Carioca. Soon after, the player was a substitute in the two semi-finals, against Fluminense, and was injured.

The injury occurred on March 28, in the adductor of his right thigh. Thus, Wesley was left out of the Carioca finals, against Nova Iguaçu; lost two Libertadores group stage matches; and also missed Mais Querido in the debut of the Brasileirão.

FOCUS ON THE NEXT GAME

So, with Wesley available again, coach Tite will not need to improvise more players on the right side in the next Rubro-Negro clash. Mais Querido returns to the field this Wednesday (17), at 9:30 pm, at Maracanã, when they face São Paulo.

STF HAS TWO VOTES AGAINST FLAMENGO'S REQUEST FOR THE BOLINHAS CUP

The Federal Supreme Court (STF) records two votes against Flamengo's request to receive the Polka Dots Cup, a trophy granted by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to the first club to become five-time champion of the Brazilian Championship. Flamengo seeks recognition of the 1987 title, alongside Sport, to claim the trophy.

VOTES FROM TOFFOLI AND FACHIN< /p>

Last year, the case's rapporteur, minister Dias Toffoli, had already denied Flamengo's request. The club appealed and the decision is being reevaluated by the Second Panel of the STF. Toffoli maintained his position, being accompanied by minister Edson Fachin. The votes of three ministers still remain.

The dispute centers on the 1987 Brazilian Championship, in which Flamengo and Sport claim the title due to differences over the regulations. In 2017, the First Panel of the STF determined that Sport is the only winner of the championship, rejecting Flamengo.

THE BALLS CUP

The Bolinhas Cup was promised by the CBF to the first club to win the Brazilian championship three times in a row or five alternate times. If the 1987 title were recognized by Flamengo, the club would be entitled to the cup, having also won in 1980, 1982, 1983 and 1992.

Toffoli argued that the decision of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice (TJ-RJ), which declared Sport the winner in 1987, is correct. He stated that the extraordinary resource used by Flamengo does not allow the facts and regulations of the championships between 1975 and 1992 to be re-analyzed. b>

In 1987, the CBF did not organize the Brazilian Championship, delegating the creation of the Copa União to the Clube dos 13. Later, the CBF organized a parallel tournament, dividing the teams into two groups: Green (Clube of 13) and Yellow (selected by CBF). Flamengo beat Green, and Sport, Yellow. The CBF proposed a final quadrangular, but Flamengo and Internacional refused. Sport and Guarani competed for the title, with Sport winning, starting the dispute over the national champion.

We have to find the culprit to have a solid defense. I spoke to three people who were there and they denied it. He himself denied it”, said Júnior Pedroso in contact with GE.

GABIGOL ADVISORY DENIES THE VERACITY OF THE PHOTO

The Flamengo thrashed Bolívar last Wednesday night (15) by the score of 4 to 0. In addition to winning, Mais Querido convinced the fans who had been waiting for a reaction from the team . After the confrontation, Tite sent a message to the Rubro-Negro fans because of the charges they have received in the last few games.

"The fans that charge us are the ones that support us on a daily basis and we respect in a polite way. At the level that Flamengo deserves. It's because of the affection for the mantle, Flamengo's responsibility, those fans who welcome us, have to be careful not to take on some who represent what they are not", said Tite. , after the game against Bolívar.

FLAMENGO'S SITUATION IN THE LIBERTADORES

After receiving several criticisms and being the target of protests by Flamengo fans, Tite and the Mais Querido seem to have found their way back to victory. This is because, before beating Bolívar, the team beat Corinthians, in the Brasileirão and played good football.

Thus, with the victory in the Libertadores, Flamengo has forwarded the classification for the next phase of the Libertadores. However, they need to beat Millonarios in the last round and hope for a defeat for Bolívar to be able to come first in Group E.

A WEEK OF PREPARATION

After the clash in the Libertadores, Mais Querido will have a week of preparation until the next game. This is because the CBF decided to paralyze the Brasileirão for two rounds. This way, Tite will have time to train the team until the match against Amazonas, in the Copa do Brasil, next Wednesday (22).
