O Flamengo played in this last Sunday (1), against Corinthians, with seven absences. This is because injuries have been Mais Querido's biggest nightmare in recent games. After the match, Tite revealed a story involving Arrascaeta and Nico De La Cruz in the confrontation against Botafogo, when the team suffered a 4-1 defeat.
Tite revealed that in the match Nico De La Cruz still felt pain and that he was at his limit. In this way, Arrascaeta committed to helping the team and sacrificed himself in his teammate's place. However, the number 14 was also at his limit, so much so that he was injured.
“I took six players before (the game against Botafogo), and I said: 'three will play in the first half and three the second'. I'm going to pass it on here because the entire management, Bruno (Spindel) knows, Diogo (Lemos) knows, because I tell them what we didn't do, what we're going to do... The guys are demolished, we're going to play with three and we're going to make three substitutions”, begins Tite before completing:
“I planned: half the time for Arrascaeta, half the time for Nico (De La Cruz). It continued and Nico didn't recover, didn't recover, didn't recover. Then Arrascaeta called me and said: ‘let me play longer. I’m fine and I’ll play more’. He got injured eight minutes in,” against the coach.
INJURIES AT FLAMENGO
Two games after Arrascaeta’s injury, Nico De La Cruz was also injured. In this way, the Uruguayans missed out on Mais Querido in the game this past Sunday (1), against Corinthians. Furthermore, Varela, Wesley and David Luiz also left the match feeling pain and will be re-evaluated by Rubro-Negro.

According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Pisa, recently promoted to the Italian football elite, made a loan offer for the player, but the terms of the negotiation did not please the red-black board, which chose to reject the proposal.
With the decision, the club kept Lorran in the under-20 squad , where he competes in the Brazilian Championship in the category. Flamengo has taken an important step towards finalizing the permanent transfer of midfielder Victor Hugo, 21 , to Famalicão, in Portugal. The Portuguese club has presented a purchase proposal that was considered satisfactory by the red-black board, which has already authorized the player's representatives to define the contract terms with the Europeans.
The expectation is that the contract with Famalicão will be valid for three seasons . The values involved in the negotiation were not revealed. The information was released by journalist Venê Casagrande.
NO SPACE IN THE CAST
Victor Hugo recently returned to the club after a loan spell at Goztepe in Turkey. The contract with the Turkish club included a buyout clause set at 8 million euros (approximately R$51 million) , but the European team chose not to exercise the option. Without a place in the squad led by Filipe Luís, the player is not part of the plans for the rest of the season.
Initially, Famalicão discussed the possibility of a new loan , but the talks evolved into a permanent transfer, considered the most advantageous solution by Flamengo 's football department.

During his time at Goztepe, Victor Hugo made 35 appearances, starting 12 of them, and scored three goals.
