Tite, coach of Flamengo, chose to use maximum strength within the options available for the next clash. The red and black team will have some important maintenance and returns to try to guarantee a good result in their next match. In defense, Alex Sandro and Fabrício Bruno maintain their positions after good performances in the previous game against Vasco.

Alex Sandro, who recently debuted, left a positive impression at left-back, gaining the coach's trust and ensuring his continuity in the starting lineup. In defense, Fabrício Bruno remains an important player, alongside Léo Pereira, forming the defender duo. On the other hand, Tite will have the return of an important name in midfield: De la Cruz. The Uruguayan midfielder, who had been recovering from a thigh injury, is ready to return to the starting lineup and will be one of the key players in Flamengo's offensive moves. His presence in the starting lineup is seen as a major boost to creativity and movement in the midfield.

THE CREATIVE MIDDER IS BACK

Furthermore, another notable change in the squad is the departure of Léo Ortiz to the reserve bench. Ortiz, who played as a starter in previous games, will lose his space so that Fabrício Bruno and Léo Pereira continue forming the defense duo. This change shows Tite's preference for maintaining a more consolidated defense, based on the good recent performances of his defenders.

In midfield, Flamengohas a lineup of creative and combative players. In addition to De la Cruz, Gerson, Pulgar and Arrascaeta complete the sector. Gerson, with his characteristic of being a transition player between defense and attack, is one of the main people responsible for giving balance to the team, helping both with marking and passing the ball. Pulgar, in turn, is the most fixed midfielder, with more defensive functions, but who also offers quality in the game. Arrascaeta, one of the most skilled players in the squad, will be the great articulator in the offensive sector, seeking to activate the attackers with precise passes.
