After the victory of Flamengoagainst Atlético GO on the afternoon of this past Sunday (14), coach Tite held a press conference where he once again spoke about prioritizing some competitions. The coach defended himself from the criticism he received after saying that the club will prioritize some championships.

Tite spoke again about the topic discussed after the victory against Palestino, last Wednesday (10), in the Libertadores. He said that many people understood him and others didn't make a point of trying to understand.

"Maybe I was missing a complement, maybe some people understood, maybe others didn't make a point of understanding", said Tite at a press conference press before continuing:

“Every championship we dedicate ourselves, we work, to achieve everything. I know, and as a fan I would also like my fans to achieve everything. Now, I’m not a liar, I am. It's very difficult to achieve this. If it's to be average, I'm not going to do it, I'm going to tell the truth. It's very difficult to win them all, but of course we're going to try! DEFENDING PRIORITY IN COMPETITIONS

Soon afterwards, the coach of Mais Querido sought to cite examples from his own career to say that winning everything is almost impossible. The coach said:  “I was world champion losing the Brazilian Championship. I was Libertadores champion, losing Paulista. I wanted to win everything.”

FLAMENGO'S NEXT GAME

Thus, Tite has not yet revealed which competition the Flamengo will prioritize. Thus, the Mais Querido squad will reappear at CT Ninho do Urubu this Monday afternoon (15), focusing on the next clash, against São Paulo. The game will be at Maracanã, next Wednesday (17), at 9:30 pm.

Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. Check it out:

"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."

Flamengo only drew 1-1 with Vasco, last Sunday (15). Mais Querido came to dominate a good part of the match, but due to defensive errors, Cruzmaltino scored the goal that tied the score. The first was from Léo Pereira, but on the counterattack, Fabrício Bruno and Evrtton Araújo also did not miss. After the goal, there was an argument between Tite and the red and black number 4.

At the beginning of the play, Léo Pereira is in attack, where he makes a good move on the left wing. However, the defender falls and loses the ball. Vasco's goal had a ball sent from right to left, where the defender should have been, leaving the side free for the smooth cross to reach Coutinho.

Soon after Vasco's goal, Tite argued with Léo Pereira, signaling an error by the defender in the attack. The defender did not like the reprimand, and appears to respond to the coach effusively, until he turns his back and swings his arm behind him.
